    No you can't
I don't know why but I can't put the whole title in UPPER CASE letters, I've tried twice and it changed all but the first letter to lower case letters.

Should be : I AM THAT I AM

Old testament KJV Exodus 3:14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

New Testament KJV 1 Corinthians 15:10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

Okay....I think that Paul was saying that by the Grace of God, he is what he is, and with His Grace that God gave him, was not in vain......because, he worked harder than everyone by the Grace of God that was within him. In other words, God was doing the work through him. Ta Da! Give me another cookie.....a Vienna Finger would be lovely! :p

These 2 verses are completely different, don't you think? In Exodus 3:14 God states: 'I Am That I Am....' is spoken by God. The verse in 1 Corinthians, states 'I am what I am' is spoken by Paul. Look up both verses and you can see the difference. Paul is saying he is who he is. Almighty God is giving Moses His name. It is rather an interesting choice of words, though!

It's OK that we see it differently what's important is that we share how we see it differently.

Exodus 3:14 God is saying I AM , everything you need and must have and all things exist through Me.

Corinthians 15:10 Paul Gives the glory to God by stating GRACE OF GOD then says - I am ( by the power of God - stating God is with him) and what I see is God IS here and Paul then goes on to give glory to God again by saying this Grace can still be seen in me. Paul is saying I haven't done this but God has and God is still doing it in me. Thereby Paul telling us how to submit to God and be useful servants of God.

Paul was giving God the Glory over and over again and saying the work you see me doing is God doing the work by him saying not in vain, I understand it as Paul saying he was following God's directions and doing what God said for him to do.

I don't see those two verse much different one God saying to us what He wants us to do and Paul saying what God wants to do for us.

This is how I see these verse with my understanding of them, that makes it my opinion and not written in stone.

MM, I truly tried to change your thread title like you wanted it posted, but there must be a default, i.e. shouting. At least I got the beginning of each word done. Sorry, that's the best I could do. We all know how you meant it, and so did God. :)
