I am thinking about 100% VG.

I am newish to vaping. I have used the dreaded small V2 as well as ego types and now ego VV. I have used different Clearos and Carts. At least enough to begin posting and asking some advanced questions. I first used 100% Propo with V2 Can't say I was very fond of it. After that I tried another company that uses 80/20. I like much better because of the vapor. I while ago I tried the Blu carts because my online order had came in yet. I liked the smoothness and sweetness. I believe they use 100% vg and was wondering if anybody can give me some tips on venturing in to 100% vg. From what I have read around the forums and other searching it can be a little tricky finding a good clearo or tank that will work well. Thank you in advance.

i just started using 100% vg with my kanger protank and it works amazing. Have been vapeing the 100% for 5 days now and love the vapor production. With a 2.5 ohm resistance i vape at around 3.5-3.7 volts. i have noticed that i have to clean the atomizer more b/c the 100%vg gums up the wicks more, but as long as you take care of you atomizer it works amazing. Also it is supposed to be even healthier than having a pg percentage in the mix. Im sure someone else will chime in that has a little more experience than me. From my experience i prefer 100%vg

Just remember - if you go for 100% VG you will be missing out on throat hit and flavor! Many others just go with a mix. It is really down to the individual to choose their preference. I personally use 60 PG & 40VG. I like the taste and the throat hit while still getting adequate amounts of vapor!

When I started vaping I too wanted 100% VG due to threads I was reading or vendors that were catering to the notion that it might be safer but after trying that first and since I really think around 65PG/35VG works out best due primarily to better wicking, better flavor and I also got that heaviness sensation I wasn't fond of with high VG. Opinions will vary widely of course.

If you do go all VG, some thin it with distilled water or grain alcohol. Some use distilled water. Some use tap water. I would not recommend tap water.

The only top coil I've used was a Stardust and I hated it, it was either a dry hit or spit juice into my mouth. I bought a Kanger T3 and loved it, and then a Protank and I finally understand how this can be more expensive than smoking. Protank, you rule. I think bottom coils really do much better for high VG ratio liquids and the thicker liquid is less likely to leak, but I gave up on top coils so fast I don't have a lot of experience to go by. I do feel I have to clean and dry burn the heads more often than people that use high PG ratio liquid say they need.

I love 100% VG, and it's mostly because of the big puffy clouds. The times I've tried high PG mixes, it both tickles my throat and feels thin and unsatisying to exhale. I've been vaping 100% VG for about 5 months, and I've never felt like my lungs were heavy or congested, but chain vaping or forgetting to drink water will make my taste buds dull until I brush my teeth. I also don't inhale deeply that often, I mostly vape like I would smoke a cigar.

I don't necessarily think it's any healthier than PG, as there's plenty of natural substances that are super harmful and many synthetic ones that aren't. I think they both have the same amount of acceptable risk. I just don't want much throat hit, I'd prefer lots of thick, smooth vapor instead. I'm sure this is why there's so many popular ratios of PG/VG, because no one wants exactly what anyone else wants from vaping.
