I would assume that either

Vision Stone tank V3 or a stardust with some sort of an adapter?

4wick Vision Grande 6ML?

all of these work great with my lava tube/knight rider, but dont lay down the 4wick Vision Grande 6ML. As long at you keep it upright works great, great taste and vapor, no wicking issues, but lay it down and get a puddle of juice and empty tank. I keep mine in a pencil holder no prob.

This is great information thank you :) I read else where I need a 510 to ego adapter too so I think I know what to get.

I am going to stay clear of the rev 2.1 for now, seems a little more work than I want to do for now.

Are the tanks systems portable? Can I load up a tank and stuff it in my pocket and not have to worry, or is it more a device you use at home?

So I picked up the Revo ... so far so good ... I have about an hour on it and with the 306 lr it vapes like a champ. Time will tell about the leaking ... I'm not very tolerant with leaks. I like the idea of having a drip like setup with out needing both hands. It will be nice to squonk and drive

Initial feelings: This is as good as it's price. It feels inexpensive. The plastic creaks when you squeeze it. The bottle isn't all that easy to get out (luckily with 10ml of juice I wont have to pull it that often) The carto storage is kinda nice but I think if you are not careful the caps will break. If this is what the entry level bottom feeders are like then I think bottom feeding will be a big part of my vaping future. I do see myself wanting something more solid with replaceable batteries. I don't look forward to finding out my battery is dead half way through the day.
For the price it performs great and will do what you need it to. I don't think it would be good for thick juice (I'm using Juggs RY4). The needle is kinda thin, that makes squonking a little tedious (tilt, squeeze, hold, hold, hold, hold, let go, dry hit, vape!)

In all I think if you are thinking about getting, get it. It's not all that bad, but don't get it thinking this will last you years and you wont need anything else. If anything this may make you want something better more. You really can't beat the price. This will tide me off nicely till a Reo can be bought.

Thanks Cobber for your thoughts, I was interested in the bottom feeder mostly for limiting the time of filling. I have been thinking for the time being I am going to stay away from anything that could be considered tedious, just getting back into this I need the K.I.S.S approach.

Which is why I have now been researching other options.

Between the overwhelming amount of information that is out there, the helpful people in here, and my desire for shiny things, I have probably filled and emptied and filled and emptied (rinse and repeat) my cart so many times, the site I have been visiting might start thinking they are getting a DoS attack lol.

Right now I am still wanting a lavatube because it looks like I can drop a tank on it and just vape it all day while plowing away on some work on teh computer or the test bench.

I am also thinking of getting maybe an ego type device to keep in the car for drives back and forth to work.( fairly long commute )

Hell I am starting to realize each device has its place.... I still love my Redds kitt but it is more suitable for a work day, breaks and lunch , a night out, that sort of thing. It comes a little too close to not keeping up to my vaping amount when I have time to sit and vape, as I would have with the analogs before , working on the computer/test bench, house party ( with analog'rs ), poker night :)

Here is what I currently have in my cart:

-KSD VV eGo-C Variable Voltage 900mAh Kit Black or Stainless PASS THROUGHS!!! - Stainless (seems to be a good car one)
-Low Resistance eGo Vision Star Dust ( to gow with the thingy above)
-eGo Vision Star Dust ( to go with the SS lavatube whenever they arrive )
-Vision Stone Tank V3 Black Drip Tip ( looks like its 2.3 2/- 0.2 could work on sslava and ego-c vv )
-Smoktech 2.5ohm Tank Dual Coil Cartomizer Refill 5 pack ( for tank and lavatube )
-Smoktech Chrome 4ml Tank Dual Coil Cartomizer Clear With Drip Tip ( I am assuming I can use the refills above this and toss out the 1.5 that comes with it)

and the ss lavatube will be added when it arrives.

anything else I am missing? oh.. probably some 2.5 atties and some carts for both

all have 510 connectors, its pretty much std

ego have a big base with threads but is still a 510 connector;what we call eGo is the same threaded part as on the KSDs,meant for stardusts

check the smok lanyard on canvape website, you got exactly what we are talking about here,KSD with std res stardust adorn with a nice lanyard

eGo holder black zipper holds two 2 bats batts batteries and accesories.

I have yet to try the low res stardust and compare same voltage same juice but will eventually

The Star Dust doesn't actually use the eGo threads. The bottom silver band covers the eGo threads but the actual connection is 510.

The LR (2.1ohm) Star Dusts work a little easier on the ego (3.7 kind) I find. A little more vapor and flavor. Mine were quite tight wicked at first and wouldn't feed a long draw. With the breaking in they just keep getting better and better. I used the SR Star Dust for over a month and they were still working when I got the LR. Pretty hard to beat.

hmm I have some stardust LR's that I didn't like on the ego but maybe I didn't let them break in long enough. I will have to try them again. On the provari it doesn't matter if you have an LR or not. They both perform the same although I do have to use two 510/510 adapters on the provari

Send me your ProVari and I'll try it and let you know!

I can say for sure that the bottom band is plastic trim. If you have one you are going to toss anyway it's worth a try. You could saw, dremel or even cut with a hot wire even with the bottom if you want to try. The trim will come completely off but I think it is on with adhesive and I'm not sure of the best way to remove it.

If you try it let us know.

Pretty sure the chrome band is holding the tank onto the base. I know you have to take the band off to take the unit apart.

When you press them apart the band stays with the tank and everything you see looking up from the battery end slides out. You can see the crimp marks through the bottom of the tank of everything that comes out the bottom. The band stays with the tank.

My apologies. The band is in fact a light metal and keeps the plastic tank from spreading away from the metal innards. At least I'm pretty sure the tank is plastic!

Lol
