Well, thanks to all you guys here on the forum I ended up ordering myself and my wife the iTaste MVP. Just the standard kit and got us each 1 juice to start (I vaped from May 2011-May 2012 and fell of the bandwagon and went back to analogs) Needless to say I ordered 1 hour ago and the Mail wait is killing me already lol.

However my main reason for posting was, the kit comes with the Clear16s which from what it seems people either hate or love. My questions is maintenance on them. How often do you guys either change the coil/wick or just clean them out?

Sorry for the silly question, I'm just coming from my 2011 Joye eGo on regular atty's

Thanks,

Nick

always a good idea to rinse them out if you change juices. I've had my MVP for about a month and haven't had to change the coil heads yet. But I did buy extra, but the originals are still working well.

The iclear16s only hold 1.6ml or e-liquid, which isn't a lot. They are top fills, so you need to make certain that you're using a dripper top on the bottles or a syringe.

The iclear30's work extremely well, also, but hold 3ml of liquid (and are easier to fill).

You can also use any 510 or ego threaded device, like the Kanger Evods, Protanks, Stardusts, etc.

Have fun, and I hope you both enjoy them. The MVP rocks!

When I used them I cleaned about every two to three tanks. Not sure how much I used as I always kept them no less than a quarter full. Tilt and twist to keep wick wet and it works great. A little warm for me but was good long as I didn't chain vape like I do mostly now. Hot water then swish with everclear to clean. Everclear helps it to dry faster. Never dry burned or anything and got good performance for the two weeks I used them.

It does take a good couple minutes to get them wicking right. Also i used a qtip to clean cup and threads since it squishes juice when you screw on the cap. Gurgles are normal and can clean cup tip to make it stop

Interesting side note to the iclear16s:

I just changed juices, and decided that after a month to go ahead and change the head since I have extras. Anyway, I've been hitting the iclear16 for a few and decided to clear the condensation from the mouthpiece (the iclears do have some condensation). But to my surprise, there wasn't any with the fresh coil heads!

So, as the heads wear down, you'll have more condensation buildup in the mouthpiece. Newer heads, not so much.

Just got the clear16 for both me and the wife, LOVE it. But, I am new to Vapin and will be trying others. Clear16 gives a better "hit" but does go thru juice faster because of that. It is a duel coil so it vapes faster.
With that being said Im not sure about the wickless ones but want some input.
And also would love to hear about the best...in comparison to the clear16...
Teach me the best way to vape and not blow through liquid...

grab some extra coil heads for those iclear16s, if you love them. You don't want to be without them :)

Vaporbeast has a 5 pack for $11.99, free shipping.

2 months in, and I've only changed the coils once (depending on your juice, of course). The flavor is very outstanding in them; in fact, I get a better flavor with the 16s than the 30s. Wish they made a 25 :)

The iClear 16s are good. Word of warning though, the first time you use them, they suck. After that first tank though they're very good. Good throat hit and flavor. I usually rock them at about 3.4-3.8 volts for most flavors because they get so hot. Since its a dual coil, top and bottom, I find that if you take a real long toot the mouthpiece can get pretty hot (ouch). I love my MVP! Great choice my friend. ;)
