Don't ask me how or why, but I managed to snap off the bottom connector of my Nova while I was playing around with pliers.

I immediately went to purchase a replacement at GotVapes but they are out of stock and have been out of stock since this happened about a week ago. I still have a mini but it's not the same... ;_;

Is there a legitimate place (no knock offs) I can order a replacement of the bottom piece from?

I'm so very tempted to take this as a chance to try out some of the newer clearos, but it took me so much money in trial and error to find the Vivi Nova I'm scared to. Is anything 100% better in every way? I vape on a Provari if that helps.

omg that sucks ! my husband dropped mine and the center post is crooked now. it still works but I was so mad.
I just reordered replacements from virgin vapors so I know they have the vivi novas in stock, not sure where to go to find a replacement part though (other than wicks)

and I've tried ... 4 other clearos and I don't like them, they all gurgle/leak
let's see
a c9, a mt3, 2 stardusts, and an evod

the evod was great for like a day or so but now it's leak city

so I would say vivi nova is the best of the methods I've tried

I have not found a longer lasting or more reliable tank than the Novas. I have found some i liked until you realise it takes a needle to fill them up, or an arsenal of o-rings to stop them leaking, or carto-tanks that you have to basically punch a nail thru to get any juice into the damn things and then they flood!

my advice: stick with the novas and just search for a stockist.

If the base came off the bottom you might actually be able to bandaid fix it for the time being. I dropped and the base came off the bottom and I was able to wiggle it back in and then you pliers to press it back in and it works like a champ and still doesnt leak either. The only aftermath is that the base will everyonce in a while need to be pressed back in, but other than that absolutely no issues

ETA: Fooey, just realized these are all out also, but like I said, probably things will be restocked in a day or so.

Wow, that stinks. And what a feat that was, probably could never happen again even if you were trying! I love vivi novas, but I gotta say these are really great too. GotVapes SplitFire 3ml Tank : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more Also I saw Chris from gotvapes post that some things would be dropping in a day or two so looks like they're just about restocked after the chinese holidays. The splitfires are a bit fiddly with the 4 wicks, but not bad. Easy to insert them the first time, just be a bit careful when taking off the shoelace tip thingies. My first one I couldn't get one off, pulled too hard and shredded the wick.

Flavor: Better than the vivi for me
They don't hold quite as much juice, so I fill a bit more often.
Once I get the wicks through the holes on a brand new one, I NEVER pull them out. To fill, I just lay the part that has the wicks on a tissue. These wick great.
I've had issues with condensation/juice in my mouth with the vivi.....have NOT had that problem with the splitfire. I do like the extra 2.8 head better than the one it comes with.
When I clean, dryburn etc, I just leave the wicks through the holes instead of taking them out, so it's much easier. Takes just a tiny bit longer to dry burn than the vivi, since the wicks are a bit wetter and longer (I trim my vivi wicks down short), but not much longer. At first I wasn't sure about these, but with a 2.8 head, and having gotten used to it, I love these. Just wish they held more juice, but they do hold quite a bit.

I was looking around for Vision replacement heads the other day and ran across EcigCharleston. They have product in stock and shipped the same day. The heads I got were Vision knockoffs named Viva, but worked fine and I can't tell the difference. They even have the laser etched ohms rating on the side of the head like Vision. Threads fit perfectly and the vape is the same. I suspect these are back door versions from the same plant that makes Vision. It's common for Chinese plants to do that. At least these got me back into Vision vaping while China is catching up from the New Year downtime.

Or you could use the mini and wait on the Kanger Pro tank.
