Hi All...

I started vaping last summer but stupid me went back to analog...I'm picking it back up again...and I'm so happy to be vaping again. That being said I have questions...

How do I figure out what voltage my battery is? I can't remember what it was when I bought it. I provide a picture of it...

I can't quite figure out why I'm not getting much actual vapor....

I'm using a battery with a iClear 16 clearomizer...I think the PG/VG is 60/40 (I asked the shop today but I totally forgot)

Also, I used a different clearomizer before the new one I bought today....I was using a ReDux replaceable coil clearomizer but tried the iClear today. But I also used different juices in each.

And another thing...What's the best voltage or battery for the clearomizers I'm using? I feel like I'm over using my battery. I just vaped for about 90 minutes and it needed to be charged already.

I gave up on cartridges because I don't have time to refill all the time when I'm on the go.

Would someone please help me? I'd love a real time chat, but I don't think this forum offers that.

The voltage determines how "hot" the battery will make your coil - and if you can't adjust it, you almost certainly have one that's 3.7 volts. This will work for a 2 ohm coil, but you may want next time to get a battery that's got variable voltage. It lets you "turn it up or down" to suit your preference (and to suit your coil).
The MAH rating provides an estimate of how long a battery will LAST. And 90 minutes isn't long at all...
If you go shopping for any new equipment, you could try something like a "spinner," (other brands call it a "twist" or "winder") - these are variable voltage, and come anywhere from 400 to 1200 Mah (bigger numbers last longer).

Is it a mini battery, cigarette sized or bigger? If it doesn't adjust, it's just the standard 3.7 volt (or less) battery. Not sure what head you're using on it- either 2.0 or 3.0.

You just got the battery today?

BTW, we do have chat here. Look at the top, "Live Chat"

It's bigger and thicker than a cig....

What do you mean by head?

I got the battery back in June '13..but I do plan on getting a new one in the next month...so I'd like to buy the right one

I have a Smok 1300 VV battery and it works great. I use it as a backup now since I just bought a mod. But yes either one should work with your clearomizers as long as they're 510 threaded.

Thank you!!! I just want to make sure I get the right battery that will work with the clearomizers I already have

I'm here, when I'm here
Examples - Battery/Mod - itaste MVP2. Head/tank - iclear 30. (I think that's the right terminology) Coil/atomizer - 2.2 ohms. That's what I'm using right now. With a 2.2 coil, I can turn my MVP (VV/VW) up to 4.2V without fear of a burnt taste. See Volts,Ohms & Watts. The MVP is a 2600mAh battery that last me about 2 days before charging.

Hope this helps. Happy Vaping!! :vapor:
