I've been vaping for almost two months now and it's going great for the most part. I've lost my throat hit over the last two weeks though. I've looked high and low but its nowhere to be found. I started with 24mg nic and that was giving great TH. I decided on my second juice order to go with 18mg to see if I could be satisfied with a lower nic content. That's when I lost my TH. I vaped all my 18mg juice and ordered some MBV 24mg 80pg/20vg hoping to get my TH back but it didn't work. I got nothing. Zero TH and not much vapor because I went up on the PG. I'm using CE5's and the 1100mah ego upgrade set to 4.2. What is going on here? How can I get my TH back? I don't really want to spend $100 on some big MOD without even knowing if that's going to help. I'm happy with the size of my ego's.

EDIT: I miss spoke here. I'm using 3.7v on my CE5's and 4.2v on my higher resistance vivi minis.

    Boge has a 1.6 ohm cartomizer?? Cool beans.

    I've been using 1.7 ohm cartomizers on a 3.7 volt (average) device. Nice throat hit with 24mg nicotine @ 100%vg.

    I'm gonna look for those Boge 1.6ers.

    BTW. I tried clearomizers at all sorts of ohms...no flavor for this Cowdog. Threw them out!

    They ONLY come flanged and punched for their tank- I'm sure the SM1.7's are quite similar tho. Yup, only for us carto-tank folks:) 'Sides- thought you'd be a one PV guy since you went REO- are you straying Already:)

    Nope. Not straying. Staying true-blue to my REO.

    Tried those 1.7 ohm super shorty cartos they recommended over in Reoville (the Reo forum). I love those cartos!!! I can taste the juice!!

    Thanks for the info on the Boge 1.6s. I don't need a carto tank with a Reo bottom feeder.

    VG = more vapor
    TH = higher nic (for me I found 18% is the threshold, anything below has no TH)
    PG = more flavor

    Keep in mind also that you may have Flow problems using too much VG, you might need to water it down some. 70pg/30vg is a common mix.

    Ah, thanks for clearing that up for me. Think I've read that about VG being thick, but I didn't know adding water was advisable.

    I tend to believe everything is in the juice. I found a juice that absolutely murdered my throat at a 50/50 ratio, then I used another 50/50 of a different juice and it was like inhaling fog at a concert. Taste but no hit. Nic may be the problem, or it might be PG, or maybe it's the flavor itself. If you think it's the juice like for some reason I tend to, try upping the nic or PG. Straight 100% PG won't give you much vapor, but it's got a TH that'll make you think you just sent your throat through an industrial vaping blender.

    I find 10% pg is about my max , right now i have half 30pg/70vg, and half 100% vg in a carto tank . Thin enough to go in to carto fast yet thick enough for tons of vapor. 558041_4276647082327_1470580783_n.jpg
