So I'm sampling a lot of juices lately, and I came upon a Liqua Turkish tobacco... and it tasted a LOT like unfiltered Lucky Strikes. No sweet, just tons of tobacco-ey flavor hitting my throat and lower sinus area, with maybe a teeny bit of roasted nut?

I know it's impossible, but the thing reminds me so much of real smokes and I can't distinguish it from what I remember to be real cigarette taste.

I try to compare the flavor with my memory of Marlboro Reds which were my main before vaping consistently, or Camels which I last smoked a decade ago.. but I can't remember what they tasted like!

Is this happening to anyone? I feel like forgetting the tastes is going to put a haze on all the good memories I have from smoking!

Good memories from smoking? I don't think I have any good memories of smoking, really.

I also have forgotten what a Marlboro tastes like and I really don't care anymore. I've found lots of great flavors to vape, including some super tobaccos, that don't taste anything like cigs - they taste better (even with low and no nic)!! I'm enjoying the process of lowering my nic levels gradually and getting away from the nic addiction. It's freeing.

Ahhhhhhh, I finally bought a pack of Reds after about a year of being analog-free.
I hate to be the "other" guy, but I got some mixed feelings after smoking one in front of the store.

First is the tobacco part of the taste. I never singled this part out as a smoker (didn't know better), but now I can definitely differentiate between the tobacco taste and the smoke+carcinogens taste that are all laden in that one cig. The tobacco part of the flavor was glorious, kind of like when you have Mom's homemade meal after being away for 10+ years? The hand-to-mouth motion also felt perfect, again like coming home after a decade away.

And a few memories did flash through my brain really quick. You know, of when I was younger and single and living in a much bigger city with lots of other people in their 20s around. How much I enjoyed those cigs and filled ashtrays every day with the butts planted vertically. Smoking out in the winter with a friend I hadn't seen since high school. Things like that.

Now the second part of this is all the smokey, carcinogenic, tar kind of taste that feels like it's wrapped heavily all around the good tobacco part. It feels sticky and carcinogenic, to the point I had to spit after every drag -- my brain keeps telling me to get rid of this .... from my mouth, and I did feel some nausea starting to creep up.

So the verdict is.... I'm not sure what to do with the rest of this pack. The positives and negatives were each so stark that there's no "mildly positive overall experience" or "mildly negative overall experience". I think I'll smoke a few more for memory's sake before tossing the thing out and straight up vaping again for a while. And I really hope someone comes up with a true Marlboro-like juice.... He/she would make some serious money.
