Halo's "tobaccos" have a taste that I cannot describe. They do not resemble anything familiar, at least to me, from basic or even complex flavors commonly found in eatable products. I can totally see how these kinds of flavors might appear "chemical" to some people. In fact, it is a good description, but strangely, I happened to like their "chemical," for the lack of a better word, taste. I just wish they would have been layered on a great tobacco base. I am thinking of doing a little DYI and mixing, say, London from Want2Vape with, say, Halo's Captain Jack or Torgue 56.To me Turkish tastes nothing like tobacco. To me it taste like marshmallow flavored cleaning product.
The only exceptions to the above, in my opinion, are Turkish (mild pipe tobacco), Midnight Apple (even milder pipe tobacco with a faint apple flavor) and Prime 15 (strong mix of vanilla and graham cracker-ish flavor), but taste is subjective.
I completely agree. Unless your taste is very similar to somebody you know, it is not a good idea to count on a vendor's description of flavors. The only way to find out is to order samples and try it yourself.I'm not saying Dan is wrong, but taste is subjective. You will read this time and time again on vendor sites/ecf. It can get frustrating, but unfortunately it is true. My advice is try lots of different flavors, but order the smallest size possible to begin with. I think Patriot from goodejuice is a fantastic tobacco liquid that has a cigarette-like flavor. To you it could taste like swiss cheese soaked in grape juice.
That having been said, generally speaking, I have found that fruit/drink/food based flavor descriptions are a lot closer to reality than tobacco flavors.
