I feel obsessed. I can't watch tv or do anything else except doing my research to learn more about vaping on my free time. Are there others like me? how long does it take to cool down?

9 weeks, 2 days, and 14 hours. Just kidding.

Don't worry. It will slow down for you eventually. There are so many things to learn that it takes a fair amount of time to soak it all in. I don't know how many times I've walked away from the computer thinking that I was done researching for awhile. Then as soon as I sit down in my easy chair I think of something else I want to research and I'm right back in the office again. Should have just stayed there in the first place.

Anyway, I know what you mean. If you're anything like me you probably enjoy learning all the new things. For me it seems like something is missing if I don't have anything new to discover. It's fun but it does drive me a bit crazy at times.

Hang in there and keep researching until your heart's content.

You will get to the point where your looking at the same thing over and over then you will slow way down .
You will look for when it was posted (your looking for new info) then wil have some places that you see your getting new info and just go there .
It's just like the got to have it's it gets to a point that you just feel you don't need it lol
Cutoff was after I got more then I can use , now I don't even look for new things .
Best wishes

I have 15 minutes until i need to leave for work. Don't have socks and shoes on. Don't have lunch ready to go. (have at least showered and dressed.) Here I am. I keep thinking that I've hit a happy place, and then I try some new thing, and it's off to the races again. Right now it's mechanicals and RBA. I've got the Kayfun style down. But I have this genny sitting here that I decided not to mess with, and now I'm thinking about messing with it. You know, just cause. ;)

IIRC, probably my first three months I spent just about every spare moment either on here, on Youtube, or at various online retailer websites looking at vape gear. If not that, I was working on atomizers.

After that, it tapered down a bit. I still spend a significant amount of time here and on the Internet in general, but:

For some people it doesn't slow down because they have chosen to make vaping and buying/building vaping gear their hobby.

I'm one of those hobbyists. I spend a lot of time tinkering with coils and wicks in my still-growing collection of gear.
