I have 5 iclear 16's. Three of them cracked right at the bottom where the tank connects to the chrome beauty ring. One of the tanks completely separated at the beauty ring. I'm not rich and buying more tanks was bumming me out. So I took a piece of shipping tape(clear) and set the tank back on the beauty ring in the right place, then I wrapped the tape tightly around the tank several times (about three or four times) and around the beauty ring making sure I could still unscrew the center piece. The tape is about 1 inch wide to touch all the beauty ring and a large part of the tank. I cleaned all the juice off first too. It worked perfect so far.....all three tanks are working perfectly so far. I looked and looked for a thread already based on this subject but couldn't find one so I started this thread. The tank would wobble at the bottom when they were cracked, they don't wobble now and they aren't leaking. I am being more careful now and treating them with caution. Good luck out there....I'm back in business! Oh yeah, I think mine cracked because they roll off my desk a lot. And I wrapped the other two that weren't cracked.
