first off, what are the volt/nicquid juices, like pg(propylene) versus vg(vegetable)?

secondly, i've been having problems with one specific juice of mine, when i put a new head on a full tank it vapes perfectly, but if i try to re-wick the head it never seems to work; i get the taste of the juice, but none of the vapor(smoke) and it usually leaks into the center tube, and leaks heavily onto the battery.

also while i was trying to figure out the re-wicking issue i found out that no matter how much or how little wick i use, it never works, i use 2mm wicking, tried using a little extra strand and a little less strands.

i know the coil is fine, when i go through the process of re-wicking i always rinse/dry burn the head a little bit to make sure no sugar or anything builds up on it.

the only reason why i'm asking is because it's just the one juice this happens on, i have/use 3 different juices in 3 different tanks and this one is really getting me frazzled, and costing me a lot.

You didn't mention which specific device you are re-wicking or how you're re-wicking it. After a lot of trial and error I hit on a combination that works for me for CE3s. T3s were very easy. Mophead clearos I haven't fooled with very much, but I'm starting to work on them as well. I also replace the coil, completely, when I re-wick so it's more of a complete rebuild.

The big trick is to get enough wick in for it to lightly touch the inside surfaces of the coil without being so tight that it restricts the capillary action that provides the flow of liquid into the coil. It can be a delicate balancing act.

my bad, i forgot about that, i'm using SI's X2 batteries with the T3 heads/tanks, and how i re-wick them is i take the head off, lay the tank upside down to the side, take off the silicone donut thingy from the stem, clean it up some, then take the stem off the head, clean it out with some paper towel or toilet paper, gently remove the flavor wicking, dab the coil wicking with a paper towel, sometimes but not always rinse it out a bit with warm water, lay in my 2mm wicking, put the stem back on, and push it on a bit to make sure it's secure, put the silicone donut thing back on the stem, refill the tank after cleaning out the inner tube and mouthpiece, put the head back on and voila

i've tried using way less wicking, and kind of a lot more, i can't seem to find the sweet spot with this one juice, every other juice works fine though, this one just doesn't produce any smoke/vapor like it does with a fresh new head from the bag.

I think 2mm is way too much for the flavor wicks. It only takes a little to keep the liquid from flowing freely. Too much and it gets completely choked off. Maybe try uncurling your 2mm and use two strands or so.

I'd also suggest a dry burn while the flavor wicks are out. Getting gunk off the coil helps keep them producing longer. If you don't have a manual battery, just take the end cap off your X2, charger end cap, put the T3 base on it. Then, using a mirror to watch the coil, blow gently into the charger end in short puffs until you see the coil glow red. Rinse again, dry gently with a paper towel or tissue, put it back together and you're good to go.

alright i'll try that, and the dry burn thing, i do that sometimes already, i usually don't need to because i can clearly see the coils, but this juice is very dark so after i rinse the head, i sometimes dry burn it a little to dry it out

It's really not necessary to dry out a non-fiber filled delivery device. Drying a carto is necessary because of the fiber fill though. The wicks can be basically dried by wicking the water out of them into a dry paper towel or tissue. The first one or two drags on the device will boil off any water remaining in the wicks harmlessly, harmlessly to you or the wick, and the liquid will simply replace it.

Not rinsing after a dry burn can result in that "wonderful" burnt flavor. The loose gunk removed by the burn is still on the coil and ends up in the first few, or many depending on the amount, vapes. Don't be afraid to refill after a rinse, it won't hurt anything at all.

surprisingly i've never had a burnt taste, but thanks for the info, when my tank starts leaking again i'l try out only using 2 or 3 strands of wicking to see if it produces the vapor smoke, and i'll probably just rinse out the head and dab dry it, instead of dry burning it

That should do the trick just fine. You may need to experiment with the number of strands to use, depending on the viscosity of your liquid. I have a 50ml flask that I stand my T3s in, upside down, when I'm playing with the top wicks like that so I don't have to dump them every time (I'm cheap, LOL).
