Going through the new posts I ran across this. I couldn't help myself and thought I would share with you folks.

I can't believe what I am reading. O no!!! - E-Cigarette Forum

Obviously no QC there, more alarming is folks shrugging the lack of QC. What is the world coming to? Imeo gets away with it because he is allowed to get away with it. Thank God we don't have that problem here.

The flaws are in the design itself that create those problems. It's a great concept.... but in the end its not worth it. I pretty much stopped using mine altogether. There are to many parts that has to be cleaned. And I'm referring only to the parts inside. There are literally 5 contact points before hitting the attie. Which means each of those points must be cleaned. Button contacted, front cap post, Spring, back cap inner center post, then back cap attie center post. All those parts must be cleaned to keep it working well. The outside is bit crazy as well for there are 5 total pieces that should be clean often because the body will turn black on you within 2 weeks. I dont know what kind of aluminum he is using but its total crap.

I will never buy that low quality over priced piece of crap again. Oh did I mention that its not worth buying... :)

Just for the record:
I have used my S6 every single day and all day for the last month and I still have no black smudges on it and a breeze to clean to. :)

Some folks didn't like my post here:

My first review on the NEW GGTS w/ AVS e-cig - E-Cigarette Forum

The entire route the self proclaimed God is taken is flawed. To many moving parts. Instead of sitting down and properly addressing the issues, he only stops the bleeding, never for once thinking stitches might be required.

Yup! Overpriced crap, aluminium crap at that :D I've been paying the price for being vocal, but I will never stop. The kind of coin we are spending on these mods, they should all work right out of the box and not having to go to Home Depot to make 'em work. The ODD one of anything might have a problem, and I really mean the ODD one.

The big GGTS is a great concept, but the devil is in the details. In this case there are a lot of details.

I originally wanted a Grant, but production stopped on those. In the end, I went with the Super Six.

Is the button as good as the later Precise 10440 I got? Not quite. Does it require cleaning the brass switch at least once a week? Yes. On the other hand the machining is very good and the body does not tarnish too quickly unless you get juice on it and leave it. There are many less parts, but also less battery options.

One idea for any aluminum, brass, or copper device is to try Cape Cod polishing cloths. The polish quality is very good and it contains a tarnish prevention agent. That might make your GGTS much more useful to you. Also lightly coat appropriate contact points with silver conductive grease. Speaking of metal, let's hope I don't need any gold. I am off to the dentist. Have a great day.

yes it takes me all but 15 seconds or less to clean the contact points on the S6. I only need to clean the aluminum body once every 6 weeks on the S6. And I use the S6 way more than the GGTS.

So why do I have to clean the aluminum body on my GGTS every week in half due to black smudges all over it and it shows up on hands after handling it? This tells me that he is using low grade aluminum for his mod. The GG is not worth the headache....

I have to be honest, i have mixed feelings about this thread. It was only a month ago the creator of said device was publicly calling me "ignorant" and i was forced to put up myth buster threads just to counter the unfounded and ill informed information being spread. So part of me says, "hell yeah", have at it! Yet, another part of me says sometimes it's best to lay the swords down. Online wars have a way of consuming ones time and energies, something i'm all too vunerable to. I'm going to close this thread, just so i can stay on point and we'll let the work speak for itself!
