I'm a big advocate of using e-cigs, but there are often misconceptions in the public at large about their function, purpose, or about their health hazards or effects. I did an AMA on Redflagdeals, one of Canada's largest message forums (it's for deal/bargain hunting, but also for classifieds and off-topic discussion), since I've been a member there for many years and often saw threads posted there about e-cigs with heinously incorrect or incomplete information.

While I'm by no means an expert on e-cigs, I like to think I am at least aware of the general topics or issues with e-cigs, and I can speak from experience that not much of the Canadian public is really in the know about e-cigs.
