Well, as some of you who know me are aware, I am a very loyal and cautious customer. I hate purchasing online. I hate waiting for packages. I hate always having that slight tiny nagging in the back of the brain when I send money, and personal financial information, through the wires to some company I don't know from Adam.
So I research. I research high and low. I read all the reviews I can find. I scour for the feedbacks. I concentrate on the positive feed-backs more than the negative though. I always find that humans are very eager to bad mouth someone when there is a problem, but those same people often disappear after they get what they wanted without a nod or a buy and bye.
I have a specific hardware vendor that I use for my e-cigarettes. I won't go into that here, because this is not about them. Besides, everyone who knows me knows who they are for sure. I shout for their service from the rooftops at every opportunity. People have asked me if I work for them even. (No I still don't). Well, it took me two months of e-cigging around playing on these forums before I decided on a vendor. It was so much reading and reading. Well, it was worth it because I mod like they are going out of style (no FDA pun needed here). So I finally got the work done and chose someone.
Well, I did it again folks. One Stop DIY Shop is my juice source for better or worst, til death or going out of business sale do we part. (crosses fingers hoping stupid joke never happens).
I saw numerous posts from people speaking very highly of this online store. Well, it wasn't even so much for the store for that matter as it was for the person running it. That was my first clue that something was right with this picture. It was not the typical "Hey a good price" or "I got my stuff in twelve minutes flat." These ECF folks were telling me what a great PERSON was running this great SITE. So I went to the site and I investigated deeply. I carefully wrote down the products and prices, and I did the same again and again before and after this. With my list in hand, I found that OSDIYS did indeed have some of the best offers I found, they had the best feedback I was seeing. They weren't even that old of a shop, and yet they were generating very nice attention.
I placed my order. Now I am complete. I have my juice supplier for my DIY liquid as well as my DIY hardware peeps.
I was extremely happy with the packaging. It was all well packed in and bubble wrap was inserted with care and NOTHING was moving in this box. It was taped almost too well. I had to get a helped to cut the tape open on this. Inside the box were 13 bottles of flavor that I had ordered, my pure VG and even a little surprise addition I hadn't expected.
The perfumers Apprentice flavorings that I got were all very good, and I mean ALL of them. When I bought from (self censored) and (self censored) at the beginning of my e-cig journey there were at least an equal number of YUCKS to YIPPEES with the flavorings I got. Let me just interject here that the only good juice to ever come out of China for me was tobacco flavor. The Chinese do seem to have a good track record with real tobacco flavors.
I had gotten MANY fruit flavors, a few savory/sweet type flavors, and a few meant for mixings such as sweet cream and seetener as well. These were all delicious. Not only were they all great as I immediately whipped up tiny 3ml samples of each one possible, but I was able to ressurect old flavors that I had all but given up on, like a version of cinnamon roll that only worked well with Orange Cream until this point. I took that vicious cinnamon roll flavor added some sweet cream, sweetener and apple and got myself a sort of Cinnamon Apple Danish flavor that is FANTASTIC.
So let me just share a few mixes I did (I will post a lot more in depth about my newest creations in other posts in other boards as well).
Now unless otherwise stated, all of these are Perfumers Assistant flavors and 100% VG and 18mg strength.
FINALLY S'MORES - Double Chocolate - Marshmallow - Graham Cracker (Called finally because I finally found where they kept the BEST chocolate flavor)
IMPROVED FRUIT SLAP - Apple, Blueberry Extra, Peach, Strawberry, Watermelon, Pineapple, Maraschino Cherry and a touch of Sweetener to smooth it out (I use Cola in original Fruit Slap)
DUTCH APPLE PIE - Cinnamon Roll (LorAnn), Apple, Sweetener, Graham Cracker, Butter
BANANA SPLIT - Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, Strawberry, Double Chocolate, Sweet Cream, Ripe Banana, Pineapple
FLUFFER NUTTER - Peanut Butter, Marshmallow, Sweetener
There is a lot more as well.
Did I mention that I placed this order on tuesday night, late at night and several states away. So they got my order on wednesday morning, and I had my delivery friday morning. TWO DAYS from Minnesota to Taxachusetts is pretty darn good in my book.
So, I am a happy customer. I now have my all I could need DIY resource.
