hey
just wanted to say I'm soon to be a reo owner!! =)
even though its not the colour i wanted but i just can't wait any longer i just had to order one. got myself a black black mini. i am sick of carrying juice bottles with me and trying to fill up my cartos between breaks at work and while driving around. i guess now i would only need to carry around a spare battery since i vape non stop.
so one question i got. I've read a couple post on cleaning the reo. can i really rinse the whole thing under the tap?? with my work it is extremely dusty. i would be covered in saw dust by the end of the day and so will my ego and provape 1 I'm using. so since there is a big hole in the reo door I'm sure it will be pretty dusty inside my reo after a day or two at work. and i hate my pvs looking dirty or having it not work properly because of the saw dust building up inside. am i gonna be able to use it at work and not worry its gonna crap out on me because its going to be filled with dust? can i just rinse it all out once a week or so and have no problems with it working like day one??? if not i guess I'm just gonna have to leave it in the car and at home and still just bring my ego to work. if theres any other reo owners out there that does carpentry for work can answer my question that will be awesome....anyways i guess i gotta stalk the mail man in a few days and catch him at my door before he leaves me a note and have to wait one more day to go pick it up at the post office. :glare:

You can indeed just wash it with water. Mine got a cleaning in soapy water today - then just a quick rinse and a good shake for the couple of drops of water that get trapped in the switch area.

You're going to love your REO Mini. Mine was among the very best vaping purchases I've ever made. It has never let me down. It has proven itself to be versatile, durable, and completely reliable. - Mine has been covered in saw dust, dirt, manure, blood, gear lube (that was a little harder to clean up), and probably a lot of other filth that slips my mind right now. Warm soapy water and a rinse takes care of it every time.

Enjoy your new REO!

I agree!! If you want, you could put a piece of tape from the inside of the squonk hole...put it on loose enough to squonk through it and if you double up the tape on the part that you but your thumb through the hole to push the bottle (sticky side to sticky side), this will keep any of the dusk you speak of out of your mini altogether and you'll still be able to use it like it was intended. I hope you have an image of what I'm speaking of. Just experiment with it...you might not want to put tape over the hole at all and be fine with what little dust actually gets in.

Congratz on your REO Mini purchase!

There is a rubber washer that you can get to fit over your atty that will help you also! Here is a great thread:

Here is a thread about cleaning it! :

If you wanted you could completely cover the squonk hole and just slide the door up to squonk!
You might want to take a extra atty or a cartos, and a spare battery or two just in case!

I think REOs are easy to use and clean. I've had no trouble rinsing them and then sometimes I hit them with a blow dryer for a minute to get rid of any drops that may be hiding in the switch cover. I don't rinse them often - maybe once a month or so, but I do wipe them off inside, out, and around the catch cup pretty regularly.

Congratulations dman87! :)

Welcome Highwayman1224! :)

Cleaning is indeed a breeze with these! Just remember to remove the battery first. If you have compressed air, that helps blow any excess water out. Keep us posted!...we love to see pics of the new arrivals!

That's great to know I can really just rinse the mod out with water. Hopefully this is the last mod I get till the vv grand comes out. Been spending way too much money on mods to be disappointed.
Just know you can't dunk the VV Grand in water like the mechanical mods- it has circuitry in it that won't allow that. I'm sure however that many Reo owners will share their creative way of cleaning them once they are released.

Congratulations and welcome!!!!!

This calls for a banana dance!!!!!:banana::banana::banana::banana:

As others have stated cleaning is super easy and you can get every square inch of it clean. I'm an electrician and my REO has never let me down its been on tons of construction sites under numerous conditions. just clean it when needed it will be fine!

After switching out my 1.5 atty's for 1.7 ohm resurrector carto's , I find I'm getting better flavor. Don't know why that is, but hey, whatever works! Really do like the mini & it'll be a lot easier to use while driving my semi down the road, lol. Trying to top off carto's while driving really isn't the safest thing to do!!
