So I finally did it!

I have been having my REO mini packed away for some time now, because I wanted something with a longer battery life (which was my provari) and then I saw the thread about modding the REO to fit a 18490. I apologize I do not remember who the original poster was concerning this, but they are brilliant.

I literally spent the last 6 days with a hand metal file and chipped away a little at a time until finally yesterday I have it set so that I can fit my 18490 batteries with the door! I am so excited! this brought the REO mini back to my number 1 vape again!

If I can find a decent camera I will post a picture or two... till then I just wanted to express my love for my new REO

Ok, still no camera really but I just bought an iPad II to upgrade from my iPad I. Remember this was all done by hand with a metal file lol so there are a few imperfections, but it works

Congrats on getting that to work out for ya. Personally, I could never do that to my REO's. It'll hurt my soul.

congrats on making it work for ya! I considered getting a mini, but I already swap batts on my grand enough already. I will get one more grand eventually. (more than likely anyway) I may make a mod of my own to put my handiwork to the test, although it would be put to shame by ANYTHING rob makes. I may just wait until Rob makes the vv metal mod to get another reo. I anxiously yet patiently await.

In my opinion the key to the mini is having a grand. whaa? Yeah, carry an all day in the grand, and an off juice that you switch around in the mini. Vape mostly on the grand, and then now and then hits of a change up.
