I don't enjoy vaping anymore?

So for some reason I'm just not really enjoying it like I used to anymore. I guess it kind of started a couple weeks ago when I got these new flavors in the mail. These flavors are the most disgusting thing I've ever tasted in my years of vaping. At first they were okay, but after a while I just couldn't vape it anymore. So I threw it aside and went to my daily vape flavor for the rest of the day and all was good. However on Sunday I find myself having to go to the ER (for totally unrelated reasons). due to the dire circumstances, bringing my vape wasn't really on my mind, so I went a couple days without it, no big deal. I get back today to my beloved Manhattan and vape off it for a couple times and I just didn't enjoy it.. my juice tasted very bland (kind of like nothing) and I just have almost no desire to vape anymore. maybe I'm just tired of the flavor or something. The doctor has me on percocet and a couple other pain relievers, but I don't know if that would really have anything to do with this or not... Some bombies should be coming in the mail soon so maybe that will get me back into it, but for now I'm just not into it... Anyone had something like this happen to them? I really want to love vaping again! :/

I've noticed my taste buds have changed in the two months since I quit smoking. Flavors I didn't enjoy in the beginning and flavors I never thought I'd like are interesting to vape now. Another "change" is I now have better equipment to vape than when I started, so I am also enjoying it more now. You might try going to a local vape shop and sampling flavors. I don't know if your recent medical issue would have an effect on vape, but I can guess that it might. Good luck!

I smoked for 30 years, so I started vaping just to get off cigarettes.

After a short while, I developed vapers tongue where all juices tasted like nothing.

The one thing I did find with vaping is that I could go quite a while without my gear and not have to rush to the store for a disposable fix, like I did with cigarettes and get another pack.

Now here's the thing, you said you really want to love vaping. But if you didn't vape anymore, would you go back to smoking?

This might not be popular on this forum, but people do quit vaping after successfully quitting smoking; my brother did and I can see myself doing it as well.

Hi. It might be time to upgrade your set up. I'm not sure what you use, but I know for me, a really good RBA/RDA can make a huge difference in the quality of my vaping expirence. Not sure where your watts, ohms are but maybe switch it up a bit. (Meaning change it) I've found you can keep it exciting by learning new things and trying different things.you just might find a whole new level of goodness you didn't know you could achieve. You might also want to give Premium e juice, or gormet e juice a try.I've found quite a flavor difference in Premium juice. Some regular companies can use things like alcohol in their juices and in my opinion, the juice definitely suffers for it! Also try new blends that fit your flavor profile. I sencerily think these tips will help you maybe kick it up a notch or two. Maybe it's time to try a new unit as well. They have came out with some pretty great regulated units now that allow high wattage vaping (150 watts or more) and these new units allow a Sub Ohm down to .1. (That's pretty much as low as it gets. ) yet these units still have the protection of a regulated device. Maybe changing things up a bit it can help keep you interested and raise your enjoyment level. Hope these suggestions help! Good luck and best wishes :)

How long have you been vaping? My taste buds went insane at about the 2-3 month mark. Sometimes they were dead, sometimes they hated everything. I took me a couple of months to try many new flavors and sort out what I liked. Probably the most trying time in my 2 1/2 years of vaping...and those ornery buds were no help at all.

Ahh, didn't expect so many answers, so sorry if I forgot to reply!

I've been vaping religiously for a little under 6 months, but I've been vaping all together for a little over a year. I just dropped $140 on Manhatten and an Infinite CLT V3, so I don't think my gear needs an upgrade [emoji14]

I did have a couple since getting out of the hospital, but I'm not sure how that would effect anything since I haven't smoked in so long. I also noticed that the throat hit is getting a bit harsh for me again. I guess I don't really need vaping anymore. I just become more of a hobby. Maybe I'm just in denial and don't want to hang it up since I've spent so much time and money on it.. Hopefully I'm hurt bored of my flavors!

The great thing is there's no pressure about this. If you want to vape - have a vape. If you can't be bothered -don't.

The great thing is you seem to have got the monkey off of your back. Life will be a lot easier without it!

You're in a no-lose position imho (as long as you don't start bashing the stinkies instead). :)

    Congratulations with quitting vaping!

(Hope to quit also, but not anytime soon; I need my nicotine...)

Not saying that you should unload your stuff, but I think that's part of the vaper's mindset. I've seen a few classifieds here where there must have been a couple of grand worth of gear on the table.
