I'm posting in the new member forum, because I don't know how to find the original post. I wanted other newbies to see this and that the person who originally shared his process for boiling coils will read it. I wanted to thank him.
I purchased the type of clearos with coils that can't be dry burned. I remembered reading about boiling coils when they are clogged, and thought I'd try it. Boiling works like a dream! I have to use VG only juices and many of them are dark; so the coils clog up pretty quick. I just replace the coil, put the clogged ones in a pile to be cleaned. After I have a few in the pile, I boil them for about 20 minutes. This trick has saved me so much money! I haven't needed to replace a coil since using this method.
So thanks for the hint; I am so grateful!
