I just rebuilt one of my Kayfuns and was looking in the cabinet to find a juice to load it up with. Then... out of the corner of my eye... way back in the back of the cabinet I saw a purple cap. I pulled it from the darkness and found that it was a bottle of Creme Brulee that had been steeping for a couple of months. It had aged nicely and is now a nice, dark, brown color. I quickly filled the kayfun with it and then screwed the kayfun onto my mod. 1.8 ohms @ 10 watts... wow.... what an excellent Creme Brulee experience! Yummy!

Please define "....a couple of months...."
2? 3? 6?
Just curious....I have some CB from 1/20/14 that I've mixed with some equally-aged CLS (Naki Blend) and use in my Reo Grand....
Outstanding!!:D
Happy (vaping) Trails!

I think I may be in the minority, but there is a point where juice has hibernated to long. Nicotine breaks down with time and oxygen. Unless your bottle is vacuum sealed, the oxygen will eventually break down the nic. I notice the breakdown starts to affect CB after about 6 months.

However, taste is subjective.

I have been wondering about this as I like my GCD to steep 4-6 months before I hit it and have been noticing that FOOB juices from NT kinda slap me around even at 6mg. I started a thread about this a while back but I got no answer so thought I was just nuts. If that's the case I'm vaping very near to 0 at this point! Who knew???

This is my experience too. I have a 4-5 month old bottle of 12mg that messed me up FOOB in my omega. Broke it out the other day and no problems.

The other side affect to nic breaking down is a slight peppery or harsher taste. Not much, just a bit noticeable.

I imagine the higher the initial nic, the harsher the peppery taste as I get nothing in my GCD...if anything it is softer and smoother. Glad to know I'm not crazy!! Also pretty cool as I'm actually at NZ right now...Wow, who knew? :thumb:

Hmm. Just discovered the WakonCB (otherwise known as Cremonda), and wondering how I am ever be able to let my CB stash steep.

Guess I'll have to get some more in NZ on 8/7 ! Hmmm... additional flavor shots ... !

Damn you, Clark.

Cremonda LMAO
