So after Graduation on May 11 I am going on a trip to Key West from Georgia. The drive will be aprox. 12 hrs and as we all know we smoke more while driving. If I was to take 12 puffs every 20mins how many cartos do you think I should take with me alone for the drive? The worst that could happen is I am half way there and run out of cartos. I just have my Bloog for 3 days now and cannot really tell how long 1 carto lasts me.

I plan on taking

2 65mm bats
2 102mm bats
2 PCCS (You never know)
1 car charger
x? cartos.

I don't think I run out of bats thats for sure. I also won't run out of juice bottles but direct dripping while driving on an auto bat seems like a stupid idea so what do you guys think how many cartos I should bring for the drive alone?

I agree that I smoke more while on a long drive than on a normal day. If it was me, I'd use maybe 3-4 in that time, but I'd want a couple extras just to switch out the flavors. And you are right, it's a bad idea to drip or refill while driving -- gotta keep your eye on the road. But you could top them off during pit stops.

Congrats on the upcoming graduation :toast:

If you have time to get a PassThru all your trouble will be abated. Then you can vape non-stop and pass it around and you won't have to worry about batteries.

To me, sitting at the computer and long drives is what the PassThru was made for.

Hi Neighbor, The passthru is a crazy good idea. I am more worried about being short on Cartos though. I thought about taking 10 Cartos for the drive alone but as said having the Bloog now for 3 days I am still uncertain about the usage of one Carto. Considering a carto life of 3 hrs, if I was to take aprox. 12 puffs every 20mins 10 Cartos should be straight? Oh my goodness I have no clue I just don't want to be short on juice.

The idea of the passthru is a brilliant Idea though I need to buy me one ASAP.

Ty, Ya see sometimes I just think way to complicated I could just top them off as you said. Saves me some Cartos thats for sure. Had too much sun today thanks for the smart and simple idea. Maybe not ready to graduate yet haha.

Keep in mind that a pass-thru may go thru juice faster than a Bloog battery because the pass-thru is higher voltage.

This is kind of the question I had. Since the voltage draw of the Bloog is regulated at 3.6V or whatever on the batteries, is the pasthrough that is sold by Bloog also capped at that voltage draw? Would any other manufacturer's passthrough work the same? Bloog does not sell the passthrough separately nor address passthrough details on their site.

Oh, and Good Morning all.

The Bloog PassThru (PT) operates at 5v. For this reason, and the susceptibility of BMF cartos to higher voltage, I use V4L cartos on my PT. Leaford has stated that he is working to resolve this and believes that several of the recent innovations in the BMF cartos will address. Only time will tell. But with the flow of those changes with no markings on the boxes to tell V1 from V2 cartos it is hard to tell which version you have.

It is also correct that with higher voltages the juice does burn up faster. You get a more intense flavor and more vapor though so there is compensation. I would double my supply of cartos to compensate for the higher rate of consumption.

+1 on the V4L carts tip. That is excellent information to have. It will keep someone from doing harm to their Bloog carts I suppose. Thanks.

One thing that everyone missed out on. If you are going to Key West, you will need money for beer. Lots and lots of beer.

Sorry, I just could not help myself.

Common sir I am from Germany I drink beer like others drink water. We already bought 5 cacks?cakes? idk how you call these big things of beer. We even bought 2 cacks, cakes of coors light which =water so we should sty hydrated while vaping on the beach. every time I go to the pool or ocean I forgot a pack of cig's in my shorts when i jumped in the water. Let's hope I don't do that with my Bloog.
