She lives waaaaaaaay out in the sticks. NH has a lot of those areas and the cable/DSL companies are too cheap to run lines to certain areas with a low population.

When I lived out in the boonies and couldn't get DSL, I ditched my dish for an ISDN line. You had to ask the phone company about it, they didn't offer to tell you about it. It was rock solid for us and beat the only other option...dial up.
Hahaha, actually I live in town. I do have the option of cable and am seriously considering it. I go through this at least twice a year with my DSL/phone service. I think they may be bringing in FIOS soon and wont do something more permanent with the lines outside until then. It sure is frustrating! They were a no show today!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrr! Maybe tomorrow???

Funny thing.... I could walk diagonally through a stand of trees and across two fields to the fence of a Comcast service office but I can't get cable. There's a lake community just a mile north of my property that has it but not me.
Nope not here. Verizon was the phone company for mega years and then Fairpoint took over parts of NH including here and you can't get anything from them but the phone.
Well, service "SEEMS" much better as of late. Maybe they did something I am unaware of from their end. We will see if they show up today.
Meanwhile, I'm going to do that research on the cable and see what it would mean for my bundled service. I've heard some have had issues with cable installation. (?) That would be MY LUCK!

Yeah. That's why we picked him over his sister at the shelter when he was a tiny pup. Extra toes = more dog for the money!
LOL @ more dog for the money! I had to have the front dew claws removed from my shi'tzu who is now romping in doggie Heaven. They were barely holding on with just a piece of skin and she was constantly injuring them. The vet did just a little snip snip and she was fine in about a week when her stitches were removed. I sure miss my mischievous little Abby! It will be 2 years ago in Feb.
Aww... Bov, old pics of fur-friends past bring back bittersweet memories. I compiled DVDs of old home movies for the kids this christmas and got a little choked up watching video of Fred our Lab-Rott mix we lost a couple years ago. We had him for over 15 years.

Yes it's bittersweet for sure, but as the grieving process comes to it's conclusion I'm able to remember what profound love each fur baby has brought into my life!
Mist those bunnies are snuggle perfect!!
Here's a pic of my Cinnamon girl. She passed 8 years ago and when she died I thought I'd never be the same...but time heals. She was 17 and was as frisky as a pup until the day before I lost her. Chase looks so much like her but she was a silky terrier mix and a little bigger than Chase.
