I got a free tank that doesn't work. Please help.

Hello,

So recently my friend gave me away his Joytech Unimax 2 due it
Not working at all. I checked the tank, reassembled it back together,
Now when I try to fire it, my alien 220W shows: "Ohms too low".
Remember, on his Evic Primo v2 it just didn't work at all.
Could it be that the vaporizer coil has been broken, and to fix
This problem I just have to get a new coil? Or is this tank just done?

Sounds like you need a new coil.

Ohms too low means the coil is shorted.. and giving a low ohm reading.... coil probably touching in side the tank or head....

Thank you so much!!! It actually worked! I checked the inside of the coil and it was bent a bit and didn't center. I took a toothpick and centered it correctly and now it works! Thank you! A working free tank!

Coils don’t last all that long to begin with. If you like the thing I might want to get some fresh coils for it anyway

It was a kinda used coil. He didn't use it a lot, but it just suddenly stopped working for him.

Well I wanted to fix it due a single coil costing from 3-5€ at our local shops, while when shopping online, 5pcs cost €9. Now I just have to wait with this coil for the new ones to arrive.
