The biggest issue I have with a lot of places is they just lump "electronic cigarette" into cigarettes without defining them. So fine. If semantics are such a huge hassle, and they can't be bothered to actually define what an "electronic cigarette" is, then that's not what I'm using. Since the rest of the Virginia law stipulates "burning tobacco product", and I'm not burning anything, and it's not tobacco, it's not an electronic cigarette. It's just my Nicotine Inhaler.

As far as I'm concerned, an e-cigarette is so-called because it looks like a cigarette....If it doesn't look like a cigarette, I don't see why I can't call it whatever I want to call it. Since cigarettes don't have buttons, I'll just call mine a five-ten.

You can't really play the semantics game in New Jersey though...hopefully Jersey has a few good judges left to throw out that ridiculous thing.

I was leaving a K-mapart last night and took a nice big puff of HV Peanut Butter Cup from my 510 and placed it in my pocket as I was heading toward the exit. I believe it was an employee that ran up to me looking annoyed and confused, she said she thought I was smoking. I simply chuckled and said "no, of course not!" and continued along my way chuckling to myself at how confusing that must have been for her. She must have been certain that she saw smoke, but "obviously" I wasn't since there was no smoke in the air and I wasn't holding anything that was burning....lol.

I realize I might get attacked for being "rude", but I wasn't shoving anything in anyone's face--she just didn't know what she saw and I was already leaving so I didn't want to stop and give a full demo. I just find it darkly humorous how confused she must have felt.
