I got my KR8 and I LOVE it! I filled one of my cartomizers and managed to do it correctly (thanks dormouse!) Since this vapes so much better than my previous PV, I've found that the 24mg is a little strong, so I'm glad I ordered some no nic PG/VG mix to cut it down a bit. Manual battery took about 5 minutes to get the hang of it, no problems. Next on my list will be to get a DIY kit for making juices.

Thanks everyone! I'll let you know if this helps me cut down even further on the analogs...and maybe even stop them completely :)

Congrats, Jennikj!

I have had my 808 kit for 2 weeks now. I also read Dormouse's advise and watched all the vids for refilling. I now think I have gone a bit overboard. Counting today's arrival, I have 15 bottles of juice from 3 different suppliers. Some awesome. Some not so much. At least most are smaller bottles. I can give them away to friends and family as I convert them from smokers to vapers.

My next shipment is a Elegant Easy w/2 batts I just ordered yesterday from Cigeasy.com. I am still paranoid about being caught without a working battery. Hopefully two batts at 750mah each will get me through even the hardest vaping day. It seemed to be a good middle ground between a PigCig, and a larger mod like a Buzz. With all the stuff I already bought, I didn't want to change from the 808.

My break-even point is now well down the calendar, but at least I ain't smoking.

Cheers,

Otto

I'm paranoid about battery death as well, so I am going to order an extra battery and a pass-through since I am home most of the time and near a computer. Also going to get a PCC to have on hand in case my usb charger dies or if there is a power outage or something. I've been trying to make one of those banners people have in their siggys but my last analog was 3 hours ago and it keeps saying it has been 4 days and 3 hours...hmmm...

Anyhow, congrats to you as well!!

Congrats to all, welcome to ECF and enjoy your vaping!

You'll be suprised how fast it can sneak up on you, just watch for big sales and stock up.
Pretty soon you end up with enough to pass up a sale, or at least sometimes....

I also have an 808 kit and love it ! I've stocked up some with extra batteries. Need to get ahold of a PCC. But I was wondering, in case of power outages, does anyone recommend any solar battery chargers with the usb on them ? Being in Florida with the hurricanes here we have had power out for up to 14 days before. I've been off cigarettes for 3 months now and don't want to chance ANY reason to grab one again...

An inexpensive 5V USB car adapter can be used to charge your batteries if >300 amps or run a USB Passthru >1200 amps. That should do it for an extended power outage if you have a car.

If you have a computer power protection battery system, that would also charge many more batteries than a PCC. The PCCs charge 2 1/2 batteries and have to be charged separately, so your money might be better spent on 2 extra XL batteries.

Full Otto, those 750mah Elegants sound really nice. Don't forget Good Prophets sells $.95 adapters if you ever change systems. I can use KR808 cartos on my eGo or 510 atomizers on my KR808 passthru.
