Well. Color me impressed. Despite all the rave reviews, I was still a wee bit skeptical that the VK would be that good because I'd read lots of 510 rave reviews and it was....meh. I was so, so, so wrong. The VK is astounding. Great vapor, consistent good throat hit, and no fussing around at all. I've been using the same carto and battery for about 6 hours now, and it still tastes just as good as when I first popped it on. Two (or ten...) thumbs up! Steve, you have yourself another loyal customer!

I do, however, have a question. How do I use the USB passthrough? I can't seem to get it to work.

hehehehe! Told ya! Isn't it great? And Steve is the best!

The USB passthrough is just plugged into the USB port on your computer. (My laptop needs to be on or it doesn't work.) If you have the manual, then push the button and vape. The auto, you just draw slow and long, just like on the batteries. If it isn't working, then try putting in a USB thumb drive or something else to see if it is working. If it is, let Steve know, maybe you got a bum one.

Plug it into a usb hole capable of providing at least one amp, and preferably more. As a for-instance: kinda thing, my front usb's dont do it, but the back ones do on my tower.

If you have a laptop, there's a possibility that unless it's plugged in to the wall it may not provide enough juice to power the passthrough..however some laptops just cant, older ones in particular, before the "USB powered devices and rechargers"

One alternative is to plug it into a wall wart designed to recharge and power USB powered devices..although some of those are expensive..I use one when im in my recliner, which is *NOWHERE* near a computer

the one thing that *wont* power a USB passthrough is one of those utterly dirt cheap USB wallwarts such as came with my Daxian T32+ cellphone...it "barely" charges the phone, its useless for passthroughs

Well, I do have a newer laptop that is plugged in. I'm not real sure on amps --I have a USB card that I use for my digital camera, MP3 player, etc., but the passthrough does nothing at all when plugged into the port.

Really? My regular macbook powers the PT no prob. Strange.

I just tried it on my daughter's laptop. It works just fine on hers, so the problem is with my laptop, not the passthrough. I noticed that if I wiggle the USB card around a bit, the passthrough does fire up, but it's VERY weak. So, that's definitely not your problem at all!
