I feel like crap right now. I spent about 100bucks on this super kit from ProSmoke.
Vapor was great but that's about it. :( I tried switching 2 cartridges just to make sure nothing was wrong with the first one. It was suppose to be menthol 25mg but all I got was vapor and sweet juice. It feels like i'm sucking a straw from an empty glass. Sometimes it sounds like a bad whistle.

Is it normal for these things to be warm after drawing 3 times? L-o-n-g draws. I know there's a battery inside.

It has been 3 hours since I've been messing with it and it frustrated me that I have to grab my Marl menthol lights after every attempt of using ecig.

I charged the device almost 9 hours before i first use it. Please help!

I checked out their website but can't tell what model it is. Here's a link to their webpage Electronic Cigarette Starter Kits | E-Cigarette Starter Kits - E-Cigarette Starter Kits - #1 Rated Electronic Cigarette - An Easy Way To Stop Smoking | Smokeless Cigarette - The Electronic Cigarette Experts. Selling the best e-cigarettes on the web! . Maybe someone can tell you something about it. You might consider returning it, they say it has a 12 month guarantee. You can get a really good product for 1/2 that amount.

Return it ASAP and order a Joye 510 or a Joye eGo kit (I got my first starter kit from Cignot.com but there are lots of options, just check put the supplier's pages). I had a Blu and returned it as soon as I found ECF. Also, pick up some eliquid and cartomizers while you are at it. There's tons of info on the boards explaining what to do from there. Good luck!!!!

I suggest you return it. My wife had a similar experience with her first e-cig purchase. Then we came to this forum and did some research. Now we have the right equipment and everything is much better.

Based on my own experience I recommend getting a Joye 510 or Joye eGo. You can get into one of these kits with two batteries for around $50.

Good luck and don't get discouraged.

I'd try like hell to return it immediately.
Thats alot of money for a starter kit, I see they even charge tax.
You can get a Joye eGo just about anywhere for around half of what you spent.
I just bought an XPower900 starter kit (two complete units) for about $60.00 including $15.00 S&H.
You've got to do some research before spending $100.
Come on, you can do it.

I'd have to agree with the others who have said to return it. If you're not happy with the product, why bother keeping it? I too, started with a horrible brand and then bought an eGo. The eGo is so much better and easier to use.

All e-cigs will heat up if you take too long of a draw and too many one after another. It's not the battery that's heating up, or at least it shouldn't be, it's the atomizer that heats up. If the battery feels warm, definitely return the product!

Thank you guys and girls.
I did research 3-4 days before making this investment. It wasn't a good one obviously.
I guess what confuses me the most was all the models # and hearing that it's the same thing with different brand name.
I have to find which forum it was that people gave 5 star to the brand i purchased and give them my review.
So far the customer service has been helpful. I don't get the sweet juice coming out anymore. Still waiting on another response from customer rep as to why there's no throat hit, no nicotine, no taste, and noisy.
I need to get approval from them, and fill out forms before I can return it.

I can tell you right off the bat why you're not getting a TH. It's because they don't use PG. According to their website, they use only VG. That might also explain why you aren't getting any taste. VG produces a lot of vapor, but it can also add a bit of sweetness and drown out the taste of weaker flavorings. Now, I'm not saying that makes it bad. Quite a few people prefer juices that are 100% VG because of sensitivities and allergies to PG, or they just don't like the TH, but they understand it's a trade-off sometimes. 100% VG juices can be awesome if they're mixed with the right flavorings.

I hope when you say you have to get approval, you mean they need to send you the information for returning your product. The product should meet with your approval, not your reasons for dissatisfaction meeting with their approval.

Welcome to ECF, BTW! Sorry I got off on a tangent there.

I recommend your returning it and also evaluate your needs prior to purchasing a new ecig kit.

First of all, my recommendation is that you get a system that openly displays the model it is, and not re-branded as Prosmokes is. This way, there will be many suppliers that you can get parts and accessories from when the need arises.

How much do you smoke a day? If you are a light smoker, you don't need a very large battery, and would do well with a joye 510 or KR808D-1. It looks like and sounds like the one you bought has an automatic battery. Automatic batteries feel more like cigarettes but they need to be recharged more frequently than manual batteries, and if you flood liquid into your automatic battery it can die. Most people here at ECF wind up with manual batteries.

If you are a heavy smoker, I highly recommend the Riva510 or Ego. They are larger batteries (about the size of a stogie) and they are wonderful units. They are both interchangeable with 510 parts except you have to use a different charger. The Ego can retail between $45 to $80 depending upon the supplier and sales. The Riva retails for less and one of our suppliers will be having them in the next week or so for $30 kit. I have Rivas and I love them. I was a 3 pack a day smoker for over 40 years. Liberty is also running an across the board 20% off sale.

20% off your whole order!

With ecigs, not one size fits all. Many people when buying their first ecig doesn't realize that and in the vast majority of cases, the retailer won't tell them.

Here is a link to the supplier selling forum for sales

And you can find sales at the suppliers sub-forums

All of the above posters are spot on. Just keep in mind there is a real learning curve to these things and you will occasionally wind up with things that aren't right for you no matter how much research. The first couple weeks off analogs were still a little rough for me but once I reached a certain point things became much easier. You know you got it when you actually try an analog and it tastes like crap :) (not encouraging this just saying what happened with me) I wonder about the extra "goodies" that are put in analogs to make them more addictive etc. I felt like this was a factor for me when I first got off them. This is just my .02 but when your craving a bit at first it helped me to have that in the back of my mind.

I agree with everything said here. Definitely return it, it looks terribly similar to the first starter kit i bought, i was disgusted with it. i got mine from a local tobacco outlet and it was a 2 piece by PureSmoke and they would not take it back. The 510 is definitely a great way to go but i agree with Stutzy, the first couple of weeks is tough for getting off analogs. For me it was more of the habit than the actual physical nicotine addiction. Hang in there and get a 510 or 901 kit (manual for me is the best), halocigs and totallywicked red label have some really good flavors and TH. Hope this helps.

(WOW) good to know I won't be getting that kind of e-cig.
