Got new goodies in the mail when I was home for lunch today. My favorite vapes are cinnamon red hot and some citrus flavors and they've been eating my Triton plastic tanks like crazy. I finally broke down and went to one of our local b&ms late last week and bought a Vision Twist and a couple of Mini ProTank 3's. Wow! What a difference! Taste was amazingly clear and crisp. Made me realize I've been mixing my cinnamon stronger and stronger to try to overcome the plastic taste I was getting. The Minis were great but I wanted a bigger tank capacity for my favorite flavors so I ordered two regular size Pro Tank 3's (along with a couple more Minis) and an Ego C Twist so I'd never be without a charged battery. I was in such a hurry to get juice in the tanks that I didn't notice that there was no coil already installed. When I turned it over the juice ran out all over me. (I'm used to having tanks come with the coil/wick already installed). Lesson learned. Also, I'm in a quandary. I ordered only one Ego Twist but received TWO packaged together in the box. Should I email them and let them know and offer to pay for the extra or keep quiet and relish my surprise? I've pretty well decided to let them know but would love to hear other opinions on the matter. New batteries are charging now and I can hardly wait to give them a trial run, especially since I already have juice ready to go in the new tanks.

That is a question of morals. Based on prior experience, I would email them to let them know, and chances are you will get an email back stating that they appreciate you letting them know, and just to keep it at no charge. Again, based on prior experience! :D You will feel better about the honesty, and you will still get to keep it.

Nice haul! I love holding my vape mail in my hands and un-wrapping like alittle kid on christmas! My mailman is probably thinking i'm crazy the way I look so happy and exicted when I get my packages in. How many tanks do you have altogether and what color twist did you get...?

Happy for ya, LarryJ - sounds like a great day :)

There's a thread (or at a minimum a listing) about tank crackers, and the two you mention (cinnamon and citrus) are notorious for munching away at plastic tanks. I think if you wander into the DIY section, you can search for a list. I believe Mt. Baker Vapor also lists "tank-cracker" flavors on its site.

I've been pretty lucky so far - only lost one EVOD to a "known" tank cracker, so I got a couple of Smok Pyrex Aro tanks and one Mini PT2, just to be safe. I do like the cleaner flavor with the glass - I know they come clean when I wash them, unlike the plastic ones that always seem to have a residual aroma after cleaning....

Welcome aboard - you too, EvilBeast :)

Let us know if we can help (I know about one or two things, but there are tons of folks out here who can help with just about anything.

Enjoy the :vapor:

I got vape mail today too! I was so excited.....was watching the tracking of it, and it came in a day early!!! I got a little stainless steel passthrough that you screw an atty on to, which is cute, and seems to work okay. My fave thing though is my stainless Mini Lambo that I got from the big auction site for $37 or so. Comes with the tube with a little LCD screen, VV, a bottom feed atomizer I haven't tried yet, a 900mAh battery, usb charger, and a lanyard. It's great! And I bought 2 extra batteries too. So I'm happy with my around-town vape sitch! My local B&M is kinda p___ing me off...eGo battery I got from them for a lot of money isn't working, and they have it for the 2nd time to test it (it won't charge). I'm sick of driving back and forth there. But now that I have the Mini Lambo for less than what I paid them for their kit, I can just go get it whenever they decide to give me a new one.
