I did something similar with 1 of my 510 attys .. I've been using the same one since I got them a month ago (the other is kept in a case in my purse JIC this one croaks) and one day the one I've been using was acting really funky, like my 901's used to do right before they would die on me, so I tried cleaning it and it didn't help at all so I had the same theory as you seem to have had, "oh well if I break it, it's about gone anyway" so I was watching a movie and fiddling with it and held the button down for what must have been 5min or so then waited for it to cool down, dropped some juice down in it and tried it and it was working about 50% better.. did that 2 more times and now it's working good as new :thumb: maybe it's similar to the automatic cleaning cycle some PV's have but a bit more thorough? I think I read somewhere on here that all juice leaves a residue on the atomizer that even regular cleaning doesn't get off? *shrug* just my $0.02 for what it's worth

Sorry hun, I don't think there is any that I'm aware of. Like my previous post said, I was just watching a movie a bit irritated that my atty was giving me trouble (I was cranky in general that day) and figured I'd use a similar method to the traditional "if it doesn't work hit it, if it still doesn't work hit it with a hammer" philosophy :p but for a simplified version of my previous "rant"

remove cartridge: Use tweezers, bright light, and a lot of squinting and tongue poking to make sure that there aren't any cartridge fibers (or paper from cleaning and drying) stuck to the atty

Hold the button down until the outside of the atomizer is HOT

Let it cool

Drop 2-3 drops into the atomizer

Try vaping.. if production is still crap.. try again.

WARNING: remember that this CAN kill your atomizer via "burning it out" and is not something that should be highly recommended. Do not blame me if you do this and it kills your atomizer, just because it worked for me doesn't necessarily mean it'll work for you.

(warning because I'm too BROKE to buy anyone else parts)

Thanks, I think I`ll try the pure alcohol method first (once I need to) :D

Hold the button down?

You have a manual battery for a DSE103 atomizer?
Or am I missing something?

I just received a DSE103 atomizer that I bought for dipping with my RN4081 battery.
It isn't working worth a darn, and I have tried a number of things already.

Read my first post again hun.. I was talking about my 510 . you could probably do this same trick on an auto PV via blowing in the other end repeatedly

Yeah, I didn't get what you were talking about, but I thought it was not a 510 there.
I have no problems with my 510, so I guess there is nothing for me to learn here.
