It just figures that when I ordered my very first supply of juice (I ordered 90mL, nine 10mL bottles), I just HAD to get a head cold.

:-x

I can't taste anything. I know the flavors are there, and i can just barely taste them, but I'm sure once I get over the sniffles and blowing my nose every 5 minutes, I'll be a happy camper.

For those interested, I bought 9 flavors from litecigUSA, and I love them all so far...

At least, those I can taste. Rofl.

I honestly thought about purchasing menthol or mint, but my mom smokes Menthol analogs, and I always hate bumming off her because of the way my lungs feel afterwards... I didn't want the same thing to happen.

I think my next purchase will have to include menthol or mint.

For those interested, I bought:

Chocolate, Dr Pepper, Vanilla, Rum, Banana, Fennel (Licorice... and even with this head cold, I can taste it!), Caramel, Orange, and Cappuccino.

Sounds like a nice variety! I have French Toast on my PT and Cafe Mocha on my battery right now - like having all-day breakfast! Smoking was never quite like this.

Stay away from those analogs, not worth it. But try a little menthol next time - I recently was surprised at how much I liked it, and I was never a menthol smoker. It had a nice throat hit even at relatively low nicotine levels.

Thank you! I wanted to get a "Sampler pack" of sorts, to try out many flavors, because I wasn't sure what I would like because I'm so new to vaping.

I know what favors I would personally enjoy in foods, but inhaling said flavor is a little different.

I only bummed off of her when I was out of analogs, when I used to smoke analogs.

I definitely think I will have to pick up some menthol or mint the next time I go shopping.

All I smoked was menthol analogs, I tried TW menthol juice when I got my first kit, I wasn't crazy about it. Then I ended up with some "crisp Menthol" from vapornine when they had a sale and its awesome. Its the only other menthol I liked, was just super MINTY, no tobacco underlay, when you get done vaping it, you feel like you just chewed a piece of gum.

I know what your saying about the cold, I woke up with a stuffy head and wouldn't you know the mail man finally decides to bring my new tasty vapor flavors today.. gr. can't taste anything!

I'm just recovering. I vaped the same three flavors for two weeks straight. I didn't want to try some new flavors because it would be a waste. Actually, all I wanted to do was sleep. My latest discovery is Lorann Cinnamon. Add a few drops and it give you a nice throat hit and flavor you can taste.

Remember, menthol vaping is nothing like menthol smoking. Find a really clean menthol that you love and it'll be one of your favorite vapes. I like a strong flavor (hence the cinnamon) and love a good strong menthol.

Get better. I did!

P.S. The good news is that vaping doesn't irriate your throat the way smoking does when you're sick. Amen to that!

lol, I hate menthol my wife was a menthol analog smoker, me a marlboro. Now that we both vape wife loves most flavors especially coffee's, me I bounce between a few different tobacco flavors with a little apple or cherry etc. The past week I also have had a head cold and what luck the menthol my wife wouldn't vape is keeping my head and sinus' nice and clear. Actually enjoying the menthol. Good luck with the cold's out there, menthol vaping definitely seems to help.

Thank you everyone for your well wishes!

It seems my prayers have been answered... I just literally recieved the JC Sampler v2 in the mail today, and lo-and-behold, there's an Arctic Menthol sample!

Too bad both of my batteries are dead today because I worked all day.

Starting to feel better from a head cold I started feeling on Saturday night.

I can't stress enough how awesome vaping is for it. I had a wicked sore throat till last night, and was coughing a bit. Be sure and drink 2x more water than you normally would, but I think vaping menthol dries out the crap in your system and soothes the throat.

I'm sure I'll be better before I get it, but I've got 10ml's of Blueberry Eucalyptus Cough Drop coming from Ms. T's in a few days. I've heard it even numbs the throat a little -- that seems like it would be the best vape ever when you have a cold.

Also when I smoked cigs I just couldn't handle it with the sore throat (menthol or not) and the nic fits I'd get I think added to my anxiety when I'd lay down on my pillow and feel like I was suffocating because I couldn't breathe. (I have a real tough time with congestion and laying down to sleep at night). Sometimes I would have to get up and walk around in the middle of the night to clear my nose.. it's an extreme anxiety so I always dread head colds.

But man oh man, vaping is the ticket... that and being tobacco free for over a year thanks to ecigs, my lungs are normal functioning now, so I don't get as much congestion as I used to in my lungs. But I swear vaping dries you out.

No wonder the man doesn't want us to have these -- they're far too useful at minimal if any risk. ;)
