Its so frustrating that the batteries just don't work. I wore out my last e-cig. I was
yearning for an e-cig they finally came and they appear to be dead as door nails.
I spent close to $60 on batteries that just won't work.

I kept clicking the bat 5 times like the instructions said, nothing.
What am I doing wrong or did I just threw away my money. First time this has ever happened to me.

HELP!!!! PLEASE AND THANK YOU I AM WITHDRAWING BIG TIME.

Charged them for a long time. Many times. Then after the five clicks nothing happened. No light, no nothing.

What gets me is I got them from two different places.
When you charged them did the charging light come on, then whatever the signal is to say that it's fully charged show that they're fully charged? Did you try clicking more than 5 times? I used to have one that was 7 clicks, and one that didn't always register clicks so I'd just have to keep clicking fast until it turned on.

The charge cord that comes with the EVOD's has a BI-Color LED in it.
    • RED indicates that it is charging
    • GREEN indicates that it is done charging
First verify that when you screw the EVOD onto the charge cord it eventually turns GREEN. For example, my recently purchased EVODS charge in less than 1hr.

Second the 5-click button press can be tricky. To slow and it won't turn on and to fast and it won't turn on. If my memory serves me correct you have to engage 5-clicks within 2 seconds.

Yes I have 2 chargers, but it doesn't matter which one I use.
If it lights up for a couple of blinks on the charger does that mean the battery is OK?
Have you tried vaping it after those couple of blinks?
I haven't used a setup like yours but my little sister has..if I remember right it would blink when needing a charge, turn solid white while charging and turn blue when it was fully charged

Still have the picture of it three yrs later as it was her first time vaping...(she's moved on to better gear these days and still tobacco free)..wish I could help more..Good luck!

Just gonna throw this out there. When I first set my sister up to vape I sent her to an online store (discountvapers) to get what she needed. She purchased battery, charging cable, wall wart and various other parts. Battery was charged when she got it so she vaped it until it needed to be charged. She attached it to the charger cable and the cable to the wall wart. Plugged it in, it blinked a couple of times and then nothing. We contacted DV. He sent us another battery and I returned the defective one back to him. The second battery did the exact same thing so back to Eric at DV. At this point I am questioning the charger cable or the wall wart but am assured that a bad cable or wall wart is unlikely. Sis used and then went to charge the 3rd battery. A loud pop smoke and tiny flames ensued from the wall wart. Sis got the bejesus scared out of her but problem finally found. Eric replaced battery, cable and wall wart and no more problems.

All this to say that cables and/or wall warts can sometimes be where the problem lies. Back when I was using ego style batteries it seems the batteries fire button light would blink a few times when first plugged in and then settle into a steady burning light. when fully charged the light would go off. Before giving up on your new batteries I think I would invest in a new cable and wall wart from a reputable vendor.

I have had a couple of batteries purchased from fasttech that were bad from the get go or shortly thereafter so it is possible that your ego batteries set on the shelf to long and the charge on them went to low thus ruining them but it seems strange that you bought 4 and they all do the same thing.

With the official Kanger charger and EVOD:

    screw on battery:
    • if the light on the charger lights SOLID RED then the EVOD is being charged
    • if the light on the charger lights up SOLID GREEN the EVOD IS charged
the point here is that the charger should light up solidly one of two colors: red or green when functioning properly.

If you are getting a few red blinks and then BLANK on the charger then the EVOD or charger is defective. Both are rather simple devices however if the EVOD's sat on the shelf to long they might not be able to be charged. Which seems to be the case here.
