So I guess I have posted too many times to be in the "new members" section lol

Anyway, two questions:

1) I got a new flavor/juice today, it's much much darker than the ones I have used all week, is this a bad thing and does it mean I have to commit to actually cleaning my atty ??

2) Do you need to hold your PV straight out when taking a drag or can you hold it pointing down to the ground ?

:?:

Thanks !

Darker juices, in my experience, did seem to gunk up my attys a bit faster than lighter colored. However, I've noticed that also can depend on the vendor. As far as holding it pointed down, that shouldn't be totally necessary because when you do drip into the atty, the metal mesh and the fibrous wick materials absorb the juice. If you were using something like a RS R4 CE2 carto, you would probably point it down more often...I've noticed when I hit on those horizontally, I occasionally get a bit more juice into the coil and/or a drop in the mouth.

Don't fear cleaning your attys...there are many threads explaining various methods. You could at the least just blow them out into a kleenex, blowing from the threaded side. I take mine, rinse under warm water from both ends, blow them out a few times, then do some dry burning until they don't sizzle anymore. You will find tons of info here on cleaning, its all very simple and only takes minutes :)

Good luck and welcome!!

Some dark juice clog atty's, some don't. You won't know till you vape it a while. If it does clog it or it starts tasting burned, just blow it out and try again. With some juice they'll go a few refills, then I have to blow them out.

I usually hold my rig vertically. I don't know if it makes a difference, that's just how I do it.

I've used some really thick and dark juices that would start to clog a little, but I've found if I drip a few times with something clear and runny and it helps thin things back out. You just have to try to find a complementary flavor. Following something like waffle with cream would work while following it with menthol would be regrettable. Trust me on that one.
