My social circle does not include fellow vapors, but I had to tell someone I successfully rebuilt an EVOD coil with organic cotton for the first time! Loving the taste, CLS from Nicoticket on a MVP. I failed quite a few rebuilding attempts & gave up. So frustrated with aspire coils so I tried again. vaping 2 1/2 months, a newbie, but I fear I am on a slippery slope. Next, mech mod & building my own coils. Thinking about a REO. Is that a good place to start?

Congrats, feels great to be self sufficient doesn't it :)

Yes, it's a very slippery slope but so worth it, I enjoy tweaking and adjusting atties almost as much as I enjoy vaping them.

The REO is, as you might be able to tell, the only thing I use now. If you enjoy rebuilding, a REO with RM2 will open up a whole new world for you. All the benefits of dripping, great vapor and flavor, without the hassle. It's not unusual for first time buyers to sell off everything else, the vape is that satisfying.

Check out the REO forum and ask any questions you might have, folks there are very helpful and would love to celebrate those break throughs with you.

Best of luck on your journey, let us know how it goes!

I'll celebrate with yah Barbchris :toast::vapor::rickroll: when i started to make my coils i also got a bit frustrated..after awhile it really started coming together for me. i started documenting the ohms of my wraps, what i was using (drill bits etc..) it is fun after that frustration hump :)

I cant comment on the REO as i dont own one, but someone that does will. gratz and keep having fun :)

Good for you Barbchris! I also think if you can rebuild these little guys you will have no problems with proper rebuildable attys.

Before going to mech mods check out the links here on mech mods, battery safety, ohm's law and anything else that strikes your fancy.

I got my first Reo Grand and RM2 a couple of months ago and it is my favorite vape these days. I won't say that I'm going to sell off all my other gear, but this system is one of the best mechanical setups in vaping and it will last me a long time.

Best of luck with it and enjoy the ride :thumb:

If you want it done right, do it your self. That what made me buy a mech mod. I was frustrated that I was spending 15 ever 2 weeks or so the buy a new ego clearomizer, one time I busted one open and saw the workings. Nothing but a simple wind of wire. Got to looking around on the internet and the idea of the rda was the best, fat clouds, DIY, and cheap to maintain.

First off, congratulations on your successful coil building project! That gives a great deal of satisfaction. If you are interested in mechanicals, a Reo is the best, easiest to work with, most durable mod you can get. Dripping gives the most awesome flavors, not muted as in many tanks, clearos, RBAs, but can be a hassle as you have to keep adding fluid in the top. Reos took care of that with the bottom feed function. A grand holds 6ml of juice, and a mini holds 3ml of juice. You can vape on no matter how busy you are or driving. I love my Reos, and are with me day and night. I still do have my first mechanical, a Nemesis, with an IGO dripping atty that I still use, mainly to use up some of the juices I have that I don't want to dedicate a Reo to. Scout out the reosmod forum, learn what you can, ask questions, see others' opinions and experiences, and make your decision. If you are asking about them, you are almost there already! :)

Harrisburg? Hey neighbor, I'm on the West Shore. Congrats!
I don't have the patience for tiny little coils like the Kanger heads require. Good for you. Now an RDA with a big deck and room to work? That's more my style.
Have you visited any brick and mortar stores in the area?

I went right from rebuilding the kanger coils to a RDA & a couple Kayfuns. Went right down that slippery slope & really love the dripper. Such great flavor. I'm still struggling with the Kayfuns a bit, woke up this AM to find one had leaked all over the place :(

Yes, I have been to most of the B & Ms @ least once. We have quite a few. Couple weeks ago stopped by Vaper's Vault (maybe the wrong name) in Linglestown. The owner is a great guy. The juice selection, to me, is best @ Camp Hill mall (another location @ Saturday's Market) They carry Pit Bull, Drake's, Space Jam & a few others. (buy 2 get third 1/2 price I believe.)

We should have a Meetup group for vapers in this area. Would be fun to share advice.
