I'm not very good at conversions but I think that is the build I am going to try first. Im going to do it around a 2mm jig. Does anyone know the Difference between wrapping jigs or general size. Why is bigger better or smaller better. It seems to me that there would be more surface area on a 3mm. Thanks roxynoodle. I have set up some general build guidelines like.....wire size, ohm load and watts as I have a kick coming. I was thinking a single coil around a 3mm jig at .9 because of the kick. Ive got one more day till I get to start building......cant wait:D

With a smaller inner diameter the coil can be wider, giving you more surface area. For example: You have two coils. One with an ID of 3mm and one with an ID of 2mm. Both have a resistance of .9 ohms. The 2mm ID coil will be wider since you'll need more wraps to get to .9 ohms.

Thanks everyone! I got my magma today and because I do not have the batt's for my mod yet I built her on my mvp 20w with a single 28g parallel set to 1.1 and I am loving it. Now is see what yall were talking about with the air cooling the coil. I have her cooking at 4.8 volts and it taste great and no burning. If I were to stop taking a drag and held the button it will burn very quickly. I can here it bubbling the juice as i'm hitting it and the taste is perfect.

I have come to the conclusion that if I want to take big long drags and vape for a good deal of time im going to have to move from 12mg nic to 6mg nic. Besides I think the throat hit is just to much for me. When I bought my juice I didn't know nic had any effect on the vape......live and learn I guess. Thanks again everyone I'm an addict haha.
