I have vaped for almost 2 years now. I have tried using different batteries. Set voltage and variable voltage. Clearomizers, top & bottom coil. Different e-liquids. Different flavors and medium to no nicotine.

What I am looking for in a e-cigarette Is nice flavor and lots of smoke. And no e-liquid leaks!

All the clearomizer I have used except the iSmoka mini BCC leaked fluid from the bottom all the time and required cleaning with tissue and q-tip constantly.

I have never been able to get the flavor to be anything more than subtle, and if I chain vape, I get a burnt taste.

I do like the thinner batteries, as they feel more like a cigarette. I don’t mind charging every day, or filling my take often.

Any suggestions? Bright flavor (I usually do strawberry, or strawberry melon), lots of smoke. No burnt taste. No leaking!

Any suggestions would be helpful

Problem is you can't really get big clouds from slim battries

Here's my observation:
1. When you use low ohms, there's more smoke but the chances of overheating is much higher, it depends on how concentrated the heat is.
2. If you want a big cloud, increase the VG percentage, but there's a downside to that, the viscosity of VG is too high that not enough juice goes to the coil in time, and it taste burnt.
* I would suggest logically (not by experience) that you try a dual coil, coils with bigger diameter and more space for the wicks inside (for low ohms), or mech mods, with the whole coil fully covered in juice so overheating is not much of an issue.
3. also noticed that when each ring of the coil is closely spaced, the heat is much more intense even with high ohms.

I'm sure you've realized by now that most fruit vapes can't take a lot of heat. Fruit vapes are pretty delicate. I would get a 50/50 juice as well, cuz high vg will often not reach coils fast enough to prevent burnt taste.

Clearomizers with an upper air intake system will eliminate leakage from bottom.

I am using the joyetech ego CC clearomizer which has that, and there is no way the thing can leak from the bottom. But most people do not like the type A coils, so maybe you can find another brand that has an upper air intake system. That is the reason they will not leak from the bottom.......and they really don't. But I do get some burnt hits so it's not ideal yet.....I don't recommend but am not familiar with other clearos on market that may have an upper air intake.

Aspire Nautilus
Aspire Nautilus Mini

I have both and neither has every leaked, Give good vapor & flavor

Both use the same coils (BVC - Bottom Vertical Coil)

Aspire also has a new tank that is sub-ohm but I have not used it jet.

I second this. I also have both the Nautilus and mini Nautilus, neither has ever leaked, flavor is excellent--very close to what you'd get with dripping--and lots of vapor.

Even better is the "new tank that is sub-ohm" you mention: the Atlantis. I have one, and it's awesome! Also no leaks, and flavor and vapor comparable to dripping at the same ohms--which is 0.5, BTW. Try it! If you like the Nautilus and mini, you will LOVE the Atlantis!

I had a LOT of trouble with the Nautilus at first, and so I went back and developed my rebuilding Kayfuns. Anyway, I decided to give the Nauties (BVC) another shot and they just seemed to groove. The Nauties have good flavor, maybe only 5-10% less than RTAs. I get just a bit more distinction between flavors in the juice from the Kayfuns. I use both now.

I have a lot of different RTAs/RDAs and I suppose the Nauties come under the clearomizer designation. After not going back to stinkies, flavor is my priority.

Life is good.
