Hi! Im new to this forum and to e-cigs. I have high hopes this will work to help me quit smoking. For me its mostly the physical hand to mouth that keeps me from quitting. I am hoping I am on the right track with my first purchases. Have you gotten it in yet, or just ordered? I'm not familiar with what you have but I think a lot here are. I got the Volcano Inferno and I love mine.

I wish you luck. I've had incredible success in only two weeks. I still find myself sort of disoriented in the morning, looking for my pack of cigarettes on the bar, or getting up from my desk and trying to figure out where I put the ashtray. I chalk it all up to years and years of habit. I was absolutely amazed at how, after vaping for two days straight, cigarettes tasted totally nasty to me (but yes, I did enjoy it).

It does take some willpower I guess, but I'll take vaping over the patch or pills any day. And in two short weeks I've weaned my nicotine level down significantly.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but those won't be able to fit on a standard eGo.

I haven't recieved it yet, I guess it shipped today. I have been smoking for 18 years and never was able to kick the habit. I have been watching the videos e-cigs for broke people on you-tube and I found it very helpful. I just kind of jumped into this lastnight and decided I need to make a change.

Welcome johndeere and katatonik is correct just purchase a 510 to 808 adapter and they will work with the eGo/Riva batts

it appears you're mixing two different types of PV. the joye ego is a large battery style that typically uses 510 cartomizers. it requires its own EGO PCC to fit the large batt.

the KR808 PCC will charge only KR808 batts. the KR808 cartos will only fit on 808 batts. but adapters are available if you wish to make them work. you may be able to trade them here online, or just contact CS for a swap of product. most companies in this industry have decent CS if you contact them directly.

i would recommend getting a 2000mAh PCC for the ego, since you have the 1000mAh extra large capacity ego battery. and 510 cartomizers instead. otherwise, you've done well.

If you have 3 batteries, I wouldn't be too concerned about having a PCC. If you have all three charged and have them with you, you'll be able to live for a few days without having to charge. (especially with the 1000mah one).

your definitely want to go on and get a 510-808 adapter so you can use those cartomizers
goodprophets has the cheapest unless you can get the place you ordered from to include that in the same package to save on shipping.

I just got my EGO yesterday at lunch and have not had a smoke since... I too smoked for 20 yrs and could never quit successfully before. With the vape... I just don't give a darn about a smoke...
I find in mornings and after meals the hardest but just sit down with a high nic content 24mg maybe and take a few drags and give yourself 5 min. That craving will be gone...
I am loving this !!

Johndeere - welcome. It looks like you are getting good equipment - it is a very good beginning. I'm glad you ordered a lot of juice, you will always want to have at least a weeks supply in since thats about how long you may need to wait for resupply. Smart getting different nic levels too but you may need to go with the higher levels in the beginning - to deal with urges better. Still, you will find out what you need. Please don't be discouraged if you don't quit entirely from day one. If you just stay plugged into this forum asking questions, researching you needs and getting support AND vaping along with it - you will end your use of analogs for sure. Enjoy!
