Hi there. I have quite a complicated problem on my hands. Complicated mostly by the amount of factors involved. I just can't get my liquid to taste right. Before I get into it I am talking about tasty vapor strawberry at around 8-10mg with %20 vg. It is my everyday vape.

Here's the deal. When I'm at a higher voltage I get the vapor I want but the flavor is just off (a little burnt) and when I get my flavor where I want it the vapor production is way too low and thin. Basically all I really want is to blow smoke rings and have this stuff taste right for me. The problem is that there are so many factors involved. Is there a vapor change vaping at higher resistance higher voltage or lower resistance lower voltage (you can get same amp output on 2 different devices running different voltages and resistances and your flavor and vapor can be drastically different) or do I need to change my pg/vg (which I'm a little scared about doing because of the waste factor if it ends up not working out) and then even worse there's the whole tastebud issue where certain flavors can taste different on a day to day basis.

I wouldn't even know where to start so I wondered if anyone else has had the same issue. If so, what did you do to work on it. Any suggestions or ideas are welcome.

Thank you very much

Yeah and then this morning I grabbed a new carto to fill at work and was vaping on my strawberry that tasted crappy yesterday and its almost perfect. So now that adds the question, did something change about the juice throughout the day from heating my carto and chain vaping like crazy to where it overheats? And while I know juice can get burned and turn dark why would it then taste ok the next morning?

But that could all go back to the tastebud thing.

Maybe I just need some diablo loco and increase vg. Maybe that'll solve my problem. Because I can vape cooler and still get more vapor and throat hit. Gonna have to wait about 3 weeks to get it though. Got hit with a bill I wasn't expecting. If anyone use following this and wondering I'll post when I get some diablo loco and some higher vg strawberry and see what we can findout

my tastebuds hardly ever work right....but i also found that if i vape different flavors...(i have 3 pv's and a dripper going all the time at home)..if i use them all alternately the flavors come thru better...go figure...lol also eating a cracker sometimes helps to...i know some flavors are good at higher volts..and some at lower ones...

You could up the VG to 30%. What I don't get is why vapor production drops so much at the lower voltage. I use a Tornado
with standard Carto some of the day and a usb 5v manual pass thru at my desk during office hours. Vapor does drop off some with theTornado, but not that much to really bother me. No flavor is another thing. Some juices just don't taste good at higher Volts. This pretty much depends how dark and thick the juice is. I get a more burnt taste with dark, thicker, sweeter, vg juices than the PG dominated plain tobacco flavors. Example- Mocha 50 vg/ 50pg. This tends to get that burnt flavor on the pass thru. Keeping your carto moist also helps eliminate bad taste. I'll top my carto off several times a day, even though it might not need it. I will also stay away from sweeter, thicker juice at high volts. This really hasn't been a issue for me in over a year or so. Hope this helps. I usually vape tobacco flavors all day, 30-36 mg, 805 pg/20% vg in most cases. I get excellent throat hit( very important to me) and good vapor, with zero burnt taste.
