I had one tank atty that has always had a funky plastic taste since day one so I decided to clean it last nite. I got some cheap no name double action denture tabs and let it dry over nite put a tank on and let it sit for 15 mins. I took a few primer puffs without inhaling. And it's great now no more funky taste at all.

Cool Idea, I tried out the Crest Pro Health method, soaked it for a few hours then rinsed it with extremely hot filtered water and let dry over night and then filled a tank with some Pina Colada 24mg VG and WHOA What a difference. No nasty taste at all, just pure Pina Colada and LOTS AND LOTS of vapor. Gonna give the denture tab method a try too though, I will try any cleaning method once to find out which one really does do the very best job of cleaning the atty's :D Thank you for the info Kellie :D

Sure can, I did all of my atty's today in an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner with some crest prohealth mouthwash, did a hot water soak afterwords, let them dry for a bit and they are creating way more vapor now than ever before and the draw is way lower resistance now as well. Also no nasty taste at all either.

You can soak attys? Don't they have electronics in them?

Make sure they have plenty of time to dry afterwards. I've ruined a couple of attys dry burning when they still had a little moisture left in them... but I've gotten away with it more than a few times too, so a little bit of moisture isn't necessarily a death sentence for an atty when you fire it up, but absolutely not recommended to apply electricity with water present.

I've been using denture cleaner for about a month now and it always works great. If It is really clogged after the denture cleaner I toss in my jewlery cleaner for a while. Be careful with mouthwash if you let them sit in it too long it will take the paint off your attys. Hey op are you the one I was chatting with about the denture cleaner a few weeks ago? If so glad you tried it.
