I just dropped off a Grand at a friends house.

I have a good friend that I've been trying to convert to vaping for 6 months now.

In January I left hem 2 Riva batts 5 LR attys and 20 cartos with 4 bottles of juice.
He was really keen on it for the first week or two then got lazy and gave up.

Yesterday he called and asked a bunch of questions about the REO. He is really into gadgets and loved my Grand when I visited last time. He was in a motorcycle accident two years ago and is paralyzed from the waist down. He has been having a bunch of medical problems from being in a chair for two years. He decided this must to be the time to quit smoking.

I spent an hour this morning going over the Grand and attys and cartos explaining how and when to him. He is a smart guy so he should pick it up with no problem. I sure hope he sticks with it.

I left him a black/silver Grand, 3 AW batts, and my spare charger.
He still had some juice left but I took him 30ml more of my Boba's / Taboo Mix 70/30 because that was his favorite. And I gave him 5 more attys and took his others back to steam clean. When I drop them off he will have 10 attys to rotate.

He asked me what he owed me for the supplies and I told him the same thing as I did with the Rivas ..... Consider them the gift of a healthier life.

Going to stop by at least once a week and see if I can keep him on the right path.
I sure hope so. If anything can turn your life around its a REO and good juice.

Good morning, Tim! I know this is not about making you feel better....and I know its about helping your friend get the best out of life....but I also want to acknowledge the effect this has on others who are exposed to your generosity.....its contagious. So not only did you present him a great gift, but you presented us one as well.

Thanks everyone I sure hope it makes a difference in his life.

I can't begin to imagine what its like at 38 to realize your never going to walk again.

He never complains and always has a smile on his face. I don't know if I could be so optimistic faced with the same challenges. He deserves every break he can get in life. We tried to help him out with a power chair but he refused. He told me a little while after that he wound up getting a used one off craig's list for 700 bucks. So I think this could really make a difference if he can stick with it.

I'll keep you posted on his progress.

As so many b4 me have already said u r a good friend. :) I have a neighbor that's 18 and I've been trying to do the same for him. His mom brought one of those expensive "mall" e-cigs and it didn't work for him. When I found out I IMMEDIATELY sat both of them down with all my gear (which isn't much) and my laptop. I explained his options and told his mom if she was going to spend $140 plus bucks she needs to do research on here because although the mall brand sparks peoples interest it often fails to perform for one reason or another. I showed him a pic of the REO I want and intend to let him check mine out when I get it (after my vaper induced coma of course). He already said he thinks that's what he wants also. The only thing is, with him being 18 his mom wants him to quit more than he wants to so it may not help him but I'll try. :) Ok I'm done taking over your thread BH. LOL. :)

I had a nice long visit with my friend last night.

He is doing great with the Grand .... loving it actually :) Surprise surprise !!

He's has been using it with the Boge 2Ω cartos the whole time.
He had some issues with the attys, I told him the cartos are fine but I gave him some tutorial on the attys again.

I dropped of a few of the dual coil cartos to see if he likes them better.
For the record, I'm not sold on them. I get better vapor from the dual coil, but flavor is hit or miss. And the draw is really stiff. I will be sticking with the Boge LR cartos for my needs.

Anyway I think he is going to join ECF today. Once he gets his post count up I will get him over here to join in on the fun.
Not sure what his screen name will be but if you see someone from Johnson City, NY give him a big REO welcome :)
