I spent lots of time in Seattle while growing up in Olympia, but never lived there - so many interesting things to do and it's a beautiful city! I still have family there, actually (Oly and Seattle). I left Washington at 23, and have been in NC for so long that I'll be here for the duration - I like it here too, for different reasons :) Maybe you'll get to take a look at Oly sometime - it was a good place to grow up. Hope I get to make a trip up there in the near future. So, cheers to a fellow Washingtonian/REOnaut!

My latest convert is... my spousal unit! I got my mini last month and he was interested. Then I got my 18490 and he was IMPRESSED! So our Reos are three - silver/black mini, jatoba/quilted maple 18490 and his belated Christmas gift: an oak/wenge 18490. I've been analog free since August 19th, 2011 and he's getting closer all the time. Happiness!

elencius, I'm so happy to see you on the REO forum. WELCOME!! :)

Yes it is and glad that you enjoyed your time in Seattle. When it's summer, there's no other place like it and doesn't get AS hot as other cities in the US. Which is a very good thing IMO. I'm sure NC is very nice and there's a lot of great things to do there as well. Probably get a lot better weather over there too.

Anyways, I'll probably visit Olympia one of these days. Traveled in other places of the country but, rarely around my own state. It would be a good adventure. Cheers to you too!!

Last night a friend of mine came over to the house. I don't see him too often but he did go skiing with us on Christmas Eve. He left his wallet in my glove box by mistake that day so he stopped in last night to get it.

He has questioned me a few times about vaping but I couldn't get him to even try one hit of my mods before.

On the car ride up for skiing we pretty much talked vaping and quitting smoking the whole 45 min ride.
I had my Grand with me and he was taking it apart, pulling out the batts (6v) reading the labels and inspecting the carto.

Still couldn't get him to try a puff :(

Well last night he said he wanted links where to buy a good starter kit and what juice I thought he would like. I told him its silly to not try all the flavors I have first to get an idea of what he wants. So I set up five 2Ω cartos fresh with my flavors on hand. He went down the line and liked them all but really liked my Gorilla Juice with some Taboo mixed in.

I even showed him how to drip but he was much more interested in the cartos ..... which is cool with me.

So I tried my best to have him pick one of my REOs and I would give it to him. No go.....

But I gave him 10 cartos and a bunch of juice and some links where to pick up some eGo or kGo kits. He didn't seem to have much interest in REOs but if he sticks with it he will understand the benefits soon enough :D

Oh well, I'll keep after him and see if he stick with it. I hope so.
It would really be great for him because he has very little money and cigs here are so dam expensive.

You're a very good guy Tim (Big Hitter). Good karma will came your way.. that's for sure :)

It certainly gets way hotter here, and that is hard to take, lol...
BTW, I still have webbed feet and I'm still a loyal Seahawks fan...
