What was the deciding factor in spending $212.00 on a mod? What benefits does this have over other mod that are cheaper?

Other mods are cheaper, but when you spend 200+ a month on vaping assceories..... It isn't that big of a jump. 4 months ago I laughed at the price too. 4 months later I see the benefit of a solid PV.

I bought 10+ 808 batteries/PT's and I could have just bought the GG. 808, 501, 901 yada yada are all in the end meant to be disposable.

This is a one time purchase. Sure it is expensive, but wasn't smoking, and vaping hasn't proved to be much cheaper to me. The benefit is having one device you can count on. Oh and my health...

Congrats to all of you waiting to receive your GG's.

The deciding factor is you, just like anything else in life. For me, I don't believe that all mods are equal, there are some that are above and beyond the rest, imho. While design, fit and finish all have it's merits, there are other functional differences that make me prefer some over the others.

One of the main reasons why I love my GGTS is the atomizer connection and the way it is vented, it is very tough to flood it and even when I do I can take a few drags and it will no longer be flooded. On some of my other mods, I have to blow them out, in order to clear the flooded atty. There aren't many PVs out there that don't use a press in connector.

Second, because of its design, it can take a multitude of batteries. Which not only changes its function (bigger longer batteries, when I don't want to have to carry spares) but also its form factor (smaller batteries, when I want a small PV). With the ability to have 3.7, 6, 7.2 and 7.4 all in a single PV.

Do these things matter to everyone else? Probably not, but they do to me and that's why $212 for a PV that can actually be configured for what ever situation I want is well worth it.

One other thing, I wanted a Chuck, it was $100 but I would have to wait 4-6 weeks to get it.

With vaporkings I got mine in 2 days. That in itself was worth saving 4 weeks of dreaming and waiting.

As previously mentioned, the GGTS has many different battery configurations, thus different volt possibilities. However, it also has many different configurations for atomizers as well. It will handle 801, 901, 510 and 808 cartomizers. Since over the past year of vaping and trying different ecigs / PV's, I have accumulated a lot of those different atty's and carts.

Therefore, this one GGTS will now handle everything I have stored away. Why stored away? Mainly due to battery failures. After a while, those little ecig batteries get to be expensive. So, I just decided it was time to get this so I can throw a different battery or batteries in it, change the atomizer connection and go on my way. Not to mention the length of time these larger batteries will last on a single charge.

I guess it compares to any product you buy actually. Does a person keep buying the cheaper product like a drill (substitute any product you wish) and keep spending money on replacements once a year, or should you spend twice as much and get a product that will last MUCH MUCH MUCH longer? Everyone has to decide that on there own. :)

It took me several weeks trying to decided and justify spending over $200 on an ecig. I figured out how long it would take to spend that money buying analogs and at the time they were going up a dollar a pack. It didn't take me long after that to finally decide I needed to go for it. I've been happy ever since and the customer support after you buy it from Rob is awesome. If you need help he's always right there. I don't think he ever sleeps. Imeo has a great design with his new GGTS.
I've been using a high drain AW 18650 battery on mine and I'm on my 3rd day of vaping with it. I'm not always charging up batteries and don't have to take a lot of different things with me when I go to work.
