Yes they will work fine. We do recommend protected batteries.

Rob, any word on GGTS coming in? I guess it will be sometime next week, is that right?
I have a problem with the surface that I will solve it in 2-3 days. Surface is of course very nice and I havent a real problem but I want more. So I have to go to a store to make some tricks

Any new info on the new shipment of GGTS Imeo? I'm starting to have heart failure waiting for them.
We have quite a few "in stock requests" queued up for the next shipment. Your best bet is to sign up yourself (see product page for the model you want, click "Email me when back in stock") and be prepared to jump when you get the stock update email from the site. I'm going to order enough that it shouldn't be an issue but you never know.

Yes I think that I have already signed up for the update but I worry that it will come out while I'm at work and I'll be late getting in on it.

I wouldn't worry Sparklet, I'm ordering quite a few as the supply availability will be higher this time.
I've got one of the original GG's (works like a champ!) Waiting with baited breath for a new GGTS.
