just pulled the trigger on one. plan to use it with a 18490 and a kick. for work.
At work it will be put through a test. I don't baby my mods so we will see how it holds up.
I've heard good things about the Tec Mod. DV had them at one point. They are somewhat like the LavaFire..only telescoping, and I think a bit heavier. I have the LavaFire, and it's an excellent fully mech mod. Great price! If I was in the market for another mech mod...I'd jump on it!
I got mine. In person it looks like pretty mortarish. The contacts are ss but it seems to hit hard enough and they like to be easy enough to replace with brass if you so choose. The button is really light when not locked so it will need to be locked before standing it up. All in all for 23 bucks, or even their normal 29.99, it's a good deal. I'm happy with it.

Very chrome and it has some weight to it. My eVic is light as a feather compared to this.
Threads are scratchy...it's new and I have not worn or lubed em yet.
Tall...it's taller that my eVic and much taller than my Natural.
Still getting used to the button...as said, it's a light touch, unlike my Natural with a side touch button and takes a very firm press.
Telescope works well...all the way out for my 18650s. Odd thing I noticed...unscrewed the top end to put battery in, wouldn't go in - too narrow ??? Put connector top back on- unscrewed bottom end- battery slipped right in. Odd ?
Connector well is deep, which is good. Looks nice with my SmokTech RDA on top...vapes well.

I got mine today as well. It does have weight to it. I believe it is worth the price I paid for it. I probably will upgrade the contacts to brass and make the switch tighter with maybe a heavier spring. I can say it's not my mini Legacy ( I could kick myself for selling it)
