I blame this thread for my order of one of Alice's samplers, I happened to open it on a Tuesday, and was reminded that if I wanted to order I better go do it NOW, NOW, NOW. So I did.
I also tried some of Vapor Chef's. Honey Pearry - yum, Coolcumber Melon - yum, I haven't tried the Deep Thought yet.
Now I'm browsing Ahlusion's site, and everything looks yummy. Never mind that I have a big box of juice from an assortment of vendors on my desk, about half that I haven't even tried yet.
I already mailed off the juices I didn't like as a PIF. Maybe the friend I sent them to will have better luck with it after more steeping time!

~Firephly, I am in the same boat regarding equipment. I really should branch out. The farthest I've gotten is protank IIs, iclear 30 s and vamos. My mom is the gear junkie. For me, if it makes my juice work, I'm good. Which really, I could probably be getting something that would make my juice work REALLY good and I would be happier. If it doesn't leak, does what it's supposed to, and holds a good charge, I'm already moving on to "What flavor do I want next?"
I think I need to revisit Vapor Chef. I got one order from him and was not overly impressed. That was a couple of months ago. Hanging out in my juice locker (aka my china hutch) was a Funky Monkey. Wow..this is actually really good now! I may be giving him a second try soon.
Oh Alice. I really really want to like you as much as everyone else. The whole concept is just fun. All of the juices I have tried though (and I got the "little bit of everything" sampler) taste a lot the same to me. I did enjoy the one that is plain tea with cream, as well as another tea from the trial room I think was called Foursquare, but I always seem to forget on Tuesday nights. A nice vendor with quality stuff and obvious care put into their product, but not really for me.

I should revisit the vapor chef too. I have the bloody mango but it turned out that even though it's good juice mango is one of those fruits that i like to eat but not vape. He sent me two samples also which was really nice but they were very very sweet (the butter bear & the some mores) The some more's is pretty good though-he really did a nice job with that toasted marshmallow and the chocolate and graham cracker too, it's just too sweet for me.
I want to like Alice too. Some of it I do. I also liked the afternoon tea. The 15 foot falls is good. The zombie apocalypse is good and so is twas brilling, but in both cases I'd rather have the fruit without the bakery part. bakery flavors seem to have a kind of cloudy flavor instead of a crisp flavor to me. cheshire catnip is alright as well, and i have high hopes for the 'lavender ever after' as soon as it steeps more.

Hey..I love AiV...but I know she isn't for everyone! Thing about me is that I don't like her cake/bakery flavors while everyone else raves about them. Wanted to try Foursquare, what does it taste like?

I'm the same way....not a huge fan of the bakery part! But the Zombie Apocalypse didn't taste bakery to me...it tasted like Strawberries n cream. Yummm.
But the Lemon Loves cake? All I could taste was butter. Sure sure...let it steep...I just sent it off to PIF. Maybe they will like it better than I did.
I really wanted to like AIV - that pretty packaging and the obvious care they take is amazing! So far I've just tried 3, but they taste very muted to me. I couldn't even smell them in the tiny bottles - but my 16-year old daughter can, which makes me think I'm paying the price for years of analogs.... so I'm waiting to test the rest. Maybe steeping will help? In any event, I seem to have been hitting the juice sites tonight...online shopping is dangerous
Amanda I have been controlled only by virtue of my debit card being compromised recently so I had to freeze it and I haven't gone and gotten a prepaid card to shop online with. I've been hanging out on the forums a bunch with my extra holiday time off and this is possibly a hidden blessing. I agree that many AiV flavors are pretty light. I wouldn't discourage anyone reading this from trying them though, they are a top notch vendor and there are tons of people out there who love them.
Schmidty, Foursquare is a tea with some citrus (lime I think) and other things in it. I may be the only one that gets this from it, but I think it tastes quite like Earl Grey. It's not a sharp or overly tangy citrus. Definitely worth a spin.
Anyone who likes teas, btw, would do well to give Ahlusion a shot. Their caramel pear black tea is very nice and I've ordered more than one bottle of it. It's available on their xpress menu, so you can sample a steeped version. I also tried their Orange Blossom Cha Yen and liked it too. It's a very interesting, orangish, herbal, floral blend that you just have to try to understand.

Saw something that brought me back to this thread, and realized that I missed it. WHere did everyone go? Seems we had some similar tastes, and it makes sense that we try to keep each other informed about new discoveries, no? What have you tried lately??

Also tried Heather's Heavenly Vapes Vanilla Dream=delicious flavor but felt/tasted a little dry, angel's kiss=a little sweet and seemed more flowery than fruity, and blueberry, which is good but also not quite what I want had a bit of a candyish thing going on.
Waiting on my next batch of AiV samples have to try them all!

Bad thing for me is if I try a juice I love and order 30ml, a week later, I don't like it or got used to it. I started DIY so now if I am let meh, then I don't make it for a while and try a new flavor. Still, there are some awesome juices out there I need to try. I am already 6 months in the hole so I have to slow down in order to get back into the black. Happy Vaping everyone!
Thanks for coming back to the thread! I've tried Black and White cookie from AiV recently. I'm not a chocolate lover at all. But this juice is amazing. Tastes like an oreo, maybe a bit richer. So good with my evening coffee for dessert.
I usually have bad luck with bakery type stuff, so I'm so pleasantly surprised. This past Tuesday I ordered Ginger by the Sea from Alice and also a bottle of Bandersnatch. I'm curious about the Ginger....is it like a ginger ale? Or a spicy ginger? Not sure. We will see! Bandersnatch is supposed to be a banana/butterscotch blend. I'm super excited about that one.
I know I'm stuck on the AiV stuff right now. But juices are so hit or miss with me, and I've had so much luck with this vendor so far, it may be a while before I try someone new.
OH! I almost forgot-I got my samples of Boba's Bounty, Gorilla Juice, and Clove from Alien Visions. Boba's is good, Gorilla Juice is AWESOME, and Clove is ok to drip a few puffs to cleanse my palate. Tried filling a tank with it and I almost died it was so horrible. That one is for dripping only, when I start getting vapers tongue.
Of all the AIV sampler the one I fell in love with, which did not to me have the muted flavors of the other, was Twas Brillig - blueberry, hints of vanilla - just delicious I ordered a 30ml bottle of that one! And BB and GJ grew on me - and surprised me! I discovered some amazing juices at my local B&M - someone take my credit card away
I seriously need to recommend "R Y U no 4?" by Derp Sauce. It's been my all day vape for over a month now and has been the only juice that I have purchased multiple bottles of.
It's a spin on the RY4 that is popular among many vapers. I have never tried another RY4 to compare it with, but I really don't care. It's just a perfect sweetish tobacco blend. I never thought I would like a tobacco flavor juice and would never have tried it if Giant Vapes didn't send me the free sample.
I have yet to find anyone else on here that vapes it. Would love for others to try it so we can compare notes!
