I Like Big Tanks...

I may go on a big-tank spree, so I'm looking for recommendations.

I just got a massive hand-blown glass tank from 505 Vapes. The clearomizer thingy that shipped with my new Innotek 134 looked foolish so I went shopping for big tanks and my first one is a beaut. I even like the "old fashioned gas pump" look this has when it's on the normal sized mods. Anyway here's the pic I was trying to find when I was looking around for big tanks. 505 Vapes XL glass tank on an Innokin iTaste 134. Apologies for the crappy cell phone pic, messy desk, and weird lighting.

From left to right: 134 with 505 Vapes XL Glass tank, Provari with my trusty (two year old) Liquinator tank, KMAX with the aforementioned clearomizer thingy (Kmax using 8350), 60 ml bottle, 30 ml bottle, pen, and switchblade for scale.

Those are gorgeous rigs, SnakeFarm. And I do like that big 5.0. The "antique" look definitely matches the 134.

Dang it... Mechs are so gorgeous. I'm really hard-pressed on whether to get a Sigelei Zmax, an eVic-S or a Nemesis. Been that way for a month now.

If I could just win the lottery, I could get one of each. (Actually, I could get one of everything.)

Sorry 'bout that. I had the same problem. I had to listen to a bit of Garbage to get it outta my head.

If I have to have a song stuck in my brain, I'd prefer Shirley Manson to Sir Mix-a-Lot.

Niiiice. I miss my aquariums. The biggest one I ever had was a 55-gallon community freshwater tropical. Along with some 10-gal goldfish tanks and a couple of smaller beta tanks (separated so they wouldn't kill each other, as I'm sure you know).

I'm not in a place right now in which I can have an aquarium, but one day I would LOVE to have something bigger than what I've had in the past. And a reef tank has been a dream of mine for many years. It's like anything else, though - I have to make it a priority, or it'll never happen.

(Sorry for the OT. Back to the actual topic...)

The Nautilus had been at the top of my list for several weeks; after I get the means to make it go, that is. It has all the features I'd want, especially built-in airflow control, it looks great and it's not overly expensive at ~$35.

(Compared to Kayfuns and such, which I'm sure are completely awesome tanks. I just won't have $100 to spend on a tank anytime soon, that's all.)

When I comes to reef tanks, I like 'em ency-weency. I have a little BioCube with a Pajama Cardinal, ten crabs, 9 nassarius snails, a diadema urchin, eight or ten harry mushrooms and two volunteer puffball sponges; 14 gallons.

Thanks! That was one of those "shoot 'til you hit it" things. I deleted about two hundred misfires of the same shot and urchins are NOT photogenic.

Back to the tank topic, I favor carto tanks with 45mm SR cartos, but I have to say this thing Innokin sent me is pretty great, so I may give clearos another chance. They just don't seem to put out as much as the cartos.

Ive heard the names IB Tanked and Big Daddy bandied about on the googlewebs, but hoping to get better advice here.

Oh, it wasn't you. As soon as I saw the thread title, it started playing on a loop in my brain. Yes, I'm a middle-aged suburban mother of four grown children and I cooked dinner tonight to the beat of Sir Mix-a-lot playing in my head. Over and over. Finally had to crank some Zeppelin to drown it out. Of course now that I came back to this thread, I'm sure I'll find myself mumbling "you other brothers can't deny" in my sleep.
