Battery life on a VK is at least twice that of the 510 depending on how often you use it. Some have gotten 6-8 hours out of theirs. Just go for it! You will not be disappointed in the device or in Vapor4Life. There is a lot of great comparison information in the "Seriously" thread (top of this forum). Have a gander! Let us know if you need any more reasons to switch - trust me, we have them!

I don't know the exact mAh for the VK standard battery, but I do know that the unit is longer than the standard 510 battery. And I also know that (based on my very limited experience) it outlives the 510 by a large margin. I think part of that is due to the larger size, and part is probably due to the fact that the VK atty doesn't run so stinkin' hot!

The short is 280ma. The long is 380ma...:D But I have no idea how much current a 510 atomizer draws. The cartomizer draws about 1.25 amps on a fully charged battery, and draws around 1.6 amps using the passthrough providing the USB puts out that much current. And most do these days.

... this vaporking has me intrigued! I like the idea of not refilling the carts so much and reading about re-filling the disposable carts sounds good too! Is the battery life about the same as a 510? Mine lasts about two hours. :(

I switched to VK from a 510....just got so upset having to top off, refill, PTB mod, etc etc...and havent looked back!

I ordered the manual ultimatum kit. I will probably order some automatic batteries later.

I started with a normal, manual 510...the Prodigy is just a higher powered "mod" for the 510. It uses normal rechargeable batteries instead of regular e-cig batteries. Which VK did you order (if mentioned in a previous post, forgive me for not seeing it)?
