Kidding of course, they do taste terrific, but as we all know, they are no good. I want to make an even bigger effort than I am to avoid Diketones, all the acetoin, etc. Below are all the flavors I want to swap out. On the left is what I use now, the right is what I want to switch to (As long as it is recommended). What I am asking for is everyone's opinion, how do the diketone free versions compare to the originals that I'm using?
Bavarian Cream (TFA) to DX Bavarian Cream (TFA)
Vanilla Custard (TFA) to Vanilla Custard V2 (CAP)
Marshmallow (TFA) to ???
Original Caramel (TFA) to DX Caramel Original (TFA)
Banana Cream (TFA) to DX Banana Cream
Cheesecake (TFA) to ???
Peanut Butter (TFA) to Peanut Butter V2 (CAP)
Dulce De Leche (TFA) to ???
Vanilla (TFA) [not sure if this one has the bad chems] to ???

The Custard V2 imo isn't as good as V1. Others say they taste the same, so you'll have to try it out on your own. As for the Cap PB V2, that stuff tastes like popcorn to me. I've tried it at 2% and 8.5%, with the latter being completely unvapable and the former being off-putting. I haven't tried any of the others you've listed, although I've had my eye on that Bavarian Cream DX for a while now.

I do use TFA vanilla bean gelato. I did not know when I ordered it that it was a v2 version of their vanilla bean ice cream. Both flavors are great. I use the gelato when I want a lighter vanilla and the regular for milkshake, ice cream, and recipes that benefit from a per say thicker vanilla presence
