I always seem to find myself in Lowes once a month buying a set of suprefire non-recharable cr123 batteries. It maybe 5 dollars, but damn they last me around 3 days of use!!! I swear they last as long as a 18650 battery for me, and I could only wish I have had rechargeable ones that worked like that.

I'd almost(have almost) buy the big pack of them from batteryjunction.( lol )which then I always tell myself. Just think about how green that is for the environment lol.

Agreed, my first 6v vape was from non-recharges....I *thought* something was different from recharges but I ddnt know what until 6v got a ll more popular....They are actually 6v :) So, what I do is charge em up, and let em sit a few days and it does bring the voltage down slightly for that tru[er] 6v feeling. I have a huge batt collection tho, but Im sure you do too...

I havent bought any nonrechrges in a long while, but like you, I DID buy a small bundle of 3v batts from the net when I first started w/6v.

Odd. Surefire bat's are 3.7. not 3v.

go to a police supply, or most higher end gun stores and you will be able to find surefires for around 1.25 each rather than the rip-off 5 bucks a pop at the box stores. You can also order them direct from surefire for the same lower price when purchased in the 12 packs!
You can buy rec's in 3v or 3.7 at battery junction.com.;)
