So I messed up my rba. Not really though. It functions better than it did when I first purchased it. I drilled two airholes in my authentic Vulcan. I build my coils on the left side of the 3 post design so instead of drilling out the V I just put the holes just to the left of the logo. That way if I decide to close off the airhole I can. One of the holes turned out perfect. I mean perfect. Dead center perfect spacing exactly where I wanted it. The hole on the other side, not so much. It came out a little too high and slightly cut into the logo a little bit. Both sides still function great. But the fact that I didn't get them both even is driving me up the wall. Yeah, $45 could get me a new one but that brings up two new issues for me. 1. I would still want to drill out the same hole on the new one (risking messing it up again). 2. Just thinking about spending more money on something I already have is making me 'tick' almost as much as knowing I messed up the first one I bought.
I know all of this probably seems silly to most of you but this is really bothering me. I love the Vulcan. I picked it out because I researched (like all my purchases) the options available and it suited my desires the most. I purchased it knowing that I was going to drill these two holes. The flavor, and vapor production are exactly what I want. Why couldn't the second hole just turn out right. When setting up the cut I measured and measured again. Then checked twice more just two be sure. (Measure twice, cut once is literally my life moto) I know I'm being obsessive and there are a million other things out there to stress over then this. I just fixate on the little details and it gets the best of me. :sigh: first world problems, eh?
