Something wrong with the under-$2 Peaches and Creme cotton yarn at Wal-Mart that many of us have been using for our wicks for ages?
I keep meaning to stop at walmart and pick some of that up... I always forget when I'm near one and my house isn't close enough for me to make the trip to one. :T

You may want to do a little research on how cotton is grown and processed.

Good point. What do you use? I've been using walgreens cotton balls which I believe are bleached (on top of toxic soil, air, water, pesticides, GM, Etc lol). I think I read the organic are treated with hydrogen peroxide or something? Off-topic, I met an old man who said hydrogen peroxide will cure arthritis and a few other things. He was talking about intravenously too. Didn't seem like a dope head though, met him fishing at a lake. Nice guy..

er...I mean...which cotton do you think is best? :D

I can't decide on an rba, so have only done research on cotton. I will be buying raw organic cotton bolls.

The last thing I need, is to quit smoking, only to ingest pesticides and formaldehyde.

Awwww man I have a provari as well and would highly highly recommend the Kayfun or it's clone the Russian. I bought the Russian used and the build quality is top notch. Especially if you want to use cotton. I was trying to figure out which RBA would be best to use cotton with myself, and while people are able to make it work, they just aren't designed for it. I bit the bullet and I'm really glad I did. Not American made, but I'll go into more details if you're interested. Non-biased pros/cons (it's not perfect, nothing is yet). Oh and super easy. Much better than trying to recoil the protanks. Not that it's hard, but that dang press-fit top piece hurts my finger for days after messing with it a lot....and I don't like the rubber grommet either.

Correct. The Russian is a chinese clone of the Kayfun, a very well built clone that is on par with the original. The Kayfun lite is a little bit smaller version of the Kayfun, but it has no airflow control. The Russian 91% is basically a clone of the Kayfun lite, but it also incorporates the airflow control. There is also the Kayfun mini 2.1 ES. Better on-the-go form factor.

Don't let the word "clone" make you think the Russian is poor quality though. The build quality and threading is amazing. I also have no moral issue with buying this clone for a few reasons:

I can't justify spending over $100 on something I might not like. Buying the Russian for $100 off the classified section allowed me to try it out first. After using it, I knew these were great products and bought a used mini 2.1 ES (haven't set it up yet though). Any future purchases I make will be new and directly supporting Svoemesto, so he'll be getting $$ from me.

Point being, if you have a concern about the quality of the Russian...don't. If you have a moral issue with buying this clone, just trust me and get the real deal. It is absolutely worth it. The only negative I can say is, I'm not 100% convinced it's something I can just throw in my pocket without potential leak issues. I'm thinking about making some kind of lanyard deal for it so I can just have it around my neck and provari in my pocket. I haven't looked around to see how and if people go out with these.

Also, I don't understand why, but this thing hits harder than a Protank. Slightly more airflow? I took my son to the park and was able to puff on my mini protank the entire time. With the Kayfun design, I have a good nic buzz after 10-15 drags max. 12mg juice too. It's crazy.

I have an issue with Chinese metals. I deal with them at work. I may get the clone to see if I like it, then get a Kayfun if I do. I have given up on trying to find a portable RBA. Everything I have read seems to point that they are great at home, but don't travel well.
I may wait until my Christmas vacation, though. The place I will be going to has a high end vape shop that will probably carry the Kayfun and many other European RBAs.

What, you don't like vaping out of a melted down junk car? :D

Good point though, which I agree with. One thing I'm thinking about doing is experimenting with plugging the air intake hole and the business end with silicone. At the least, it would prevent a mess and make it easily pocketable. At best, it might give it enough positive pressure to keep the juice in the tank and out of other places.

Good luck with whatever you decide! :)
